It's certainly something of interest to anyone who has access to a record player but not YouTube for sure.
Just as a note to collectors/flippers - this is now restricted to 1 per person.

I think it's great that Heavenly Records put this out. It's random and probably won't get any attention beyond this board and that is kind of what I like about it. Who puts out interviews on records anymore? Who does that? It's clear that Heavenly is pretty happy that Lanegan is on their roster and I for one couldn't complain.
I also like that you could pay $10 or more if you wanted. Who does that for vinyl records?

Hands up who's every going to listen to this more than once? (if at all, as it's been on youtube for a while now..)

It's certainly more an object than a record, but most vinyl records are nowadays anyway. Like the boxset, about half of these will remain unopened (and about half of those again will float around eBay forever)

I don't really have a need or use for this to be honest. It doesn't add anything to my collection, and its not something I'd be that bothered about listening to.
Reading an interview in a magazine or the internet would be more useful as I can speed-read to the points of interest.
Some people are going to try and flip these, but I can't see them being worth more than a few quid or accumulating in value.

Gonna buy it because I was there , one of the best Lanegan gigs I'd been too and the whole day just a fantastic, special memory. I've bought/collected tour vinyl and shit for over 27 years and probably listened to a small percentage of that. but will regret not buying this.

I've spent more on less (13 quid for any sort of record now is well cheap) so I don't mind this. As above, the gig this was done at was really memorable ("shut up or fuck off!") so any tangible reminder is fine and dandy by me. Can see why it's not essential though

It's certainly something of interest to anyone who has access to a record player but not YouTube for sure. Hehehe...too bad its only available online. Maybe while they are online ordering this vinyl they can hop on over and enjoy youtube for a bit

^ Great point Just rewatched the interview, and I'd forgotten that John seems to have a bit of a cold as well. So with his and Mark's voices together, this will have a comedy bonus effect of audiophiles the world over checking their styluses styli needles for non-existent fluff for hours on end.

Looks like it's getting an additional release in a few weeks (amazing, when most other pressings are on an average 3-month waiting list) - never could work out how buying from a shop would be cheaper than direct from the actual label either, but it's magically £8.99 from here and here, out on the 27th of November. Limited to 200 this time.
