If anyone is gonig to any of the shows left on this tour and happenns to go to the signing afterwards could you do me a favour and ask Mark about this. In this article Sean Wheeler says Mark is iterested in producing their next album. It wont let me copy the relevant text. Saw Sean & Zander with Mark on the last tour and then when they toured idependantly this time last year and they're great and if Mark does produce the album then I think my little brain might just break. Has anyone got any info? A link to the article: link

Great interview, thanks for posting it. I also really got into Sean and Zander from them supporting Mark on his UK tour last year, I bought both their albums from the merch stand that night and then went to see them again in Leicester on their own UK tour later in the year. A new album from them record with Mark Lanegan and Alain Johannes would be amazing! Last time I checked Sean and Zander were no longer speaking... It was like a month ago... :/ No say it's not so? They seemed like such laid back guys, Any idea what happened?

I met Zander after their show at The Night & Day in Manchester.
I congratulated him on "Angels did sing" telling him I thought it was a beautiful song and wondered why he didn't play it and from what I could find on Youtube never played it. he responded "I'm more of a serious guy than Sean, Sean likes things to be lighter, more fun" (paraphrasing)
I hope it wasn't creative differences. I'm only speculating.

Looks like Sean might be doing some stuff with his previous band Throw Rag. They have a "Look out..." post on FB, followed by a post about a gig in Aug.

Looks like Zander Schloss had a Indiegogo campaign for a a new EP but it's now closed. Hope it's still going ahead some how even though he didn't meet his goal.

It's a good EP. I hoped there would be more "Angels did sing" type stuff on it but there wasn't. But I'm always glad to be wrong about my wants for an album/ep and after a few listens I've really grown to like it.
Still hoping for the Sean & Zander album produced by Lanegan though. The Sean and Zander facebook group still constantly posts "follow" posts so I've not given up hope on them, Lanegan involved or not.

Sean is opening for Brant Bjork on his European tour. Only UK date is in London so I wont be going but I've seen Brant many times before.

Wow that was a really good interview! When I first got into Sean and Zander from seeing them support Mark I tried to look at what other stuff they'd done in the past but found there wasn't much information on the Internet about them. This article cover a lot, surprisingly didn't mention his brief time with the RHCP. I didn't know he was in the The Magnificent Bastards with Scott Weiland. Both the Sean and Zander albums have tracks on with just Zander singing on, so it seems Mark was more into those than the joint songs. Wish they'd been able to do that third album before parting ways. A shame really as I thought they had a great chemistry. Still Sean and Zander seem to be doing their own things now so that good. Here's the part about Mark:
