Feel sorry for me ya bastards as god knows when I'll get mine 🤣🤣🤣 I think we're pretty much in the same situation. I will order the record in the late afternoon, who knows how long it will take to reach Italy. I'm starting to hear voices and see things that aren't there LOL

No huge surprise given that promo CDs are currently being 'redistributed', but as I'm fairly sure these are watermarked someone somewhere's going to end up in a load of shit...

Ah, clickbaiters gonna clickbait. Can't understand these unconstructive reviews, as all it'll do is ensure that the site gets nothing else from the PR again. It's not even comically destructive, as it just stops mid-rant... Don't remember any whoos either (and he has form with these anyway, so heaven forfend he enjoys himself). There's a "la la la la la la la" (think that's all of them) in Drunk on Destruction, but that's oddly in context.

Is it ok to be sad that we will never have a Bubblegum or Field songs kind-of-album again though?

LOL, why is it "unconstructive"? Because it's unfavorable? No, because it's not really constructive. Reviews don't have to blow smoke (and they shouldn't) and there'll be plenty of actual unfavourable reviews that I'll happily agree with, especially in certain regards, but I've never found stuff that opens with sweeping insults to be any more or less interesting to read than Simeon pointless screaming how something's the best thing ever. Still, they got their ad clicks and that's the main thing.

Amazon Germany mailed me yesterday and told me pre-ordered black vinyl will be available May 11th instead of this week :-( Maybe they are too close to RSD with the release?

Is it ok to be sad that we will never have a Bubblegum or Field songs kind-of-album again though? Absolutely it's okay to be sad, but it's all relative to the listener to isn't it? To me bubblegum was the start of all this and I was not a happy bunny when It was released. I personally long for another whiskey or field songs, not because I object to artist development but because to me they play to Mark's strengths and do not overcrowd his wonderful voice, a voice that blends beautifully with acoustic instrumentation. Having said all this I still enjoy the newer material in certain moods but arguably to a lesser extent. The older stuff is timeless. Good bye to beauty for now, but maybe one day it will return? See you all next year! Glad the forum is still going strong after all these years.
