Mark appears on J Macsis & friends' Sing the Night in Sorrow, out on the 28th of July. The kinship extends beyond band members. Enter longtime friend, Mark Lanegan, who duets on *World I’m Gonna Leave You*– a surging stomp with an ominous guitar riff that imagines leaving death and its ghosts behind. It includes a haunting harmony-filled chorus that pairs Petkovic with Robert Pollard.

They're a bit of an indie Boston, and this new one is in places. The track that Mark's on is stompy & fun though (and I I didn't recognise his voice on the first run through) and the whole thing is pretty cool. As with the last album, a whole bunch of interconnected videos will be out nearer the release date.
