How about a new poll? Now where Blues Funeral is nearly one year out and everybody had enough time to listen and compare I would be interested how fans think about it compared to the older ones.

Hey,
just thought of the recent versions of QS, as they really played it faster over the whole year. Went through some of the recordings and noticed it went faster all the time
(Studio Version is about 4:06min) March 15 - Hamburg: 3:59min May 15 - Toronto: 3:47 August 22 - Wolverhampton: 3:33 December 10 - Tel Aviv: 3:12
i went to Hamburg and Hannover in November and really noticed the different speeds. i prefer the latest uptempo version. what about you?
what could be the reason to increase the speed of that one except it kicks more ass? they kept the speed of all other songs (except Black Rose Way) the same during the whole year.

did they play don't forget me? they haven't played it on their whole tour (100+ gigs). I would be surprised if they change the setlist for the last two concerts

the only - and only - reason to go onstage is, to serve that genius an ice cold Sour Whiskey
was the hugging during a song while singing? that's just dumb, but nevertheless I'd like to see it on video - which song was it?

Hey there, just came across a video from Queens of the Stone Age which was posted on the RekRek-Board from one of those early 2005 shows, before Alain and Natasha joined them on their LtP-Tour. I knew that Dan Druff played bass at that time, but I didn't know that Lanegan was onstage (nearly) the whole time and played keyboard (together with Troy) and did backing vocals to a lot of songs. The video is very shaky, I just link you with a passage from "If only" where you can see it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyTNzAeN3iM#t=36m10s

Hey there! I just read that (at least a part of) Marks performance at the Rolling Stone Weekender Festival will be broadcasted on German Television Channel WDR on December 17th (2:35 AM - 3:05 AM). Anybody capable of doing a nice taping job? The "WDR Rockpalast" shows are always nicely filmed, so it's worth it www.wdr.de/tv/rockpalast/sendungsbeitraege/2012/1217/index.jspThanks in advance

On the first edition of Live At Leeds CD there was a Pink Floyd cover I believe, but the repress had it removed yes! it also had Hangin tree and Jesus program on it and was replaced by Sunrise and Twain
