Join us on www.urban75.net for thought provoking debate on a variety of issues. Or, conversely, talk shite with majority of us there ;D . Lots of Lanegan fans - 'tis cool. Oh, and if you ever need to know how to fix your plumbing or what to plant against a north facing wall to cover the remains of a dead body, someone will be able to help you. ;D

www.blackle.comThey say that this is an energyconserving version of Google, can anyone confirm?? Hey, it's black.. like this board.. me likey! It saves a bit of energy on a Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) monitor (according to the internet so it must be true, a CRT monitor displaying a standard Google page outputs around 105W whereas Blackle knocks it down to 87), on LCDs it makes no difference at all, as most oftheir energy goes on the backlight which is on all the time regardless of display colour. There's also the similar Darkoogle.com, available in grey on black or a more computery (if you're as old as I am) green on black.

Occasionally, there is something on telly worth watching. Most of the time there isn't which is probably why this place has never had a TV thread. City of Vice was definitely something on telly worth watching. It looked ace, was all historical-looking (and therefore educational), was grounded in fact, and the Emperor from Star Wars was in it. Ooh, and there was lots of swearing. Channel 4 have knocked out this game thingy which, although there is no Emperor from Star Wars in it, is very good indeed.

For us foreignfolks who don't have English as their first language. This is handy if you're posting here (or there) and you're not entirely sure what the word you have in mind means. www.ldoceonline.com/

Actual real live Japanese beer shop. All a bit boring, until you get halfway down and find the blue beer, and at the bottom, we have a product known only as BILK. And yes, it really is a beer/milk combo. Yummy. I think.

Sperm for TicketsBlokes (I am assuming that ladies are ineligible for this offer, although Martina Navratilova could probably have a good go) - fancy going to some European festival or other, but have no money? Then trade in your tiny manfishies in some probably pun-based (there must be one or two in there, I just haven't thought of one yet) transaction to get a ticket for the festy of your choice.... ...shame it's just a market tester for an Irish sperm clinic who asked some webdesign types to drum up a bit of interest. Seemed to have worked though, so hooray or something.
