Ever wanted to talk like your Gran? Well, now you can with the Proverberator - a cunning device that takes halves of proverbs and randomly splices them. Personal fave so far: "People who live in Glass Houses are the deepest"

Best quiz everGuess what youtube video is being commented on by internet trolls. Obviously sweary, rarely coherent, very addictive. The comments are still hilarious but, once you do the quiz once the second time is easy because they keep using the same answers.

Launch the hedgehog into space game. Worth it just for his little happy face. Korean photographer takes childrens' drawings and makes then real. Rather sweet. I have no idea what this is supposed to be, but click on each weirdy doll to view adverts for each one. The 2nd-to-last one is very bizarre and should definitely not be watched at work, if indeed ever. Come to think of it, the one before it is quite stunningly and frighteningly mad as well. This might actually be the strangest thing on the internet. This is not strange in comparison to the above, but is one of those things that will be all over the internet in no time, such is the catchy awfulness of the site's themetune. David Brent levels of genius. Requires sound, natch. Federal Inmate Locating thing. Does exactly what it says on the tin, but is fun for putting your own name in and see if you have a namesake in chokey. Kept me amused for, ooh, a minute or two.

Friday niceness: Someone does something vaguely arty and pleasant with a chainlink fence and a bunch of styrofoam cups, things ensue.

Oh neat, I love seeing people's cup messages on highway overpases. Especially when they get rearranged. Around here they are usually done in red or blue plastic 'party cups' rather than styrofoam, though.

IBM in 1975 do a slideshow predicting the fabulousness of the internet, and almost get it 100% right, except for the bits about increased productivity and reliable data. And some of the women are nicer-looking. Not quite sure what "Hot Job" is all about, but I now want that tattooed on my knuckles.

Geeky Stained GlassI particularly like the Pyramid Head one, and this puts me in the frame of mind to watch the Silent Hill movie tonight, even though it's largely awful. The music's good though.

A History of Internet Memes, which goes into far too much depth. A brilliant way to waste a few mins though. Also, the inclusion of the OK Go vid which was subsequently stolen by the advertising industry, there is always the occasionally fascinating You Thought We Wouldn't Notice, where people who have had creative work stolen by others can moan about it in the internet. Some of the comparisons are tenuous, and I suspect that some are advertising plants, but on the whole it's quite amazing just how much stuff big business simply nicks and palms off as their own work...

This one's better. And less mad. Anika's Oddysey. Nice little distraction of a webgame that takes about quarter of an hour tops. And if you have a bit more time, check out Warbears on the same site. Genius.
