I think I was getting far too much pleasure out of making the planes crash

Quite lovely little game where you have to rotate a 3D model to make a 2D image. Is a bit easy once you get the basic jist of it, but it's a clever idea very prettily executed.

Probably been linked to before, but always a laugh. Sort of. One of those "God hates a fag/send me all your money you ignorant fools" websites has a list of bands to watch out for as they may be, or might know someone who also may be, gay. Points to notice: 1. Lil' Wayne is probably either thrilled or upset that he is listed twice
2. Elton John is listed as 'really gay' and Marilyn Manson is listed as 'dark gay', which leads me to believe that there is some chart of gayness somewhere reminiscent of a Dulux Paint chart - which, apropos to nothing, would put Dale Winton at around a Light Jamaican Ginger. On both charts.
3. George Michael has 'Texan' listed against his name, and for no apparent reason.
4. Weirdy Christian types the Jonas Brothers are not only linked, but underlined. I thought that these would be the site owners' ideal band, but then again they have a film out called "Camp Rock" so take that as you will.
5. According to this, Kate Bush is included because she kissed a girl. Why was I not informed of this?
6. The page is accompanied by a quote from Oscar Wilde who, according to whoever Donnie is, is a 'reformed homosexual'. This will no doubt come as a bit of a shocker to everyone else. Ooh - and watch the video. Methinks the pastor doth protest too much.

The Something Store. Send 'em $10, and they will send you, erm, something. Probably. Beast bit about the site is the legal guff about what they won't send. Endangered animal species are listed, non-endangered ones aren't. So you might end up with an Otter if you're really lucky.

The something store is such a typical consumer zombie attitude concept it could work... maybe it works. Personaly I think it is stupid as we are already in an overconsumption world... Kind of grotesque.

Well, the site lists all the lovely more-than-$10-worth-of-something quite proudly, but no company (even by just supplying a bunch of auctioned bankrupt stock) would make any cash from doing just that, so all that'll presumably be balanced out by a much larger ratio of a-lot-less-than-$10-tat in order to balance the books.
It's quite a good idea in that it shows that with a bit of marketing, anyone'll buy anything (even if they don't know what they're buying), but it does play on the "I want something for nothing" mentality of the modern consumer, and is probably a tiny microcosm* of why nobody's got any money anymore when they're happy throwing it away.
*As opposed to a big microcosm. Although that'd probably just be a cosm if it wasn't tiny.

This kills about 2 minutes: Make your own Muppet, before realising how much the bloody things cost. For slightly longer amusement, have a go at Splitter for some, if not all of your physics-based daily puzzle-type needs.

50 Strange Buildings which, as there is another page of them, is actually 100. Some genuinely lovely things, although there's some godawful ones to trawl through as well.

Oh i just found this and i personaly think it's a consumering thing, but it should open a way to all artists ... A kind of compromise ...maybe a good way if you dare
