------> here's a page with instructions on cutting glass with a glass cutter: www.refinishfurniture.com/glass_cutting.htmwhat are you trying to do, exactly? If you're trying to cut a sheet of glass to put into a picture frame or something, you can get a 'glass cutter' at the hardware store for a few dollars.... it has a litle wheel that will make a score line, then you break it over the edge of a table. In a pinch, you might be able to score it well enough using a sharp razor blade and bearing down very hard (against a straight edge which is aligned with a marker line you drew on the glass as a guide) and then breaking it. But please be careful. When it's scored properly, you really just need to hold the 'good' part on a table or countertop with the scored edge facing up on the edge of the counter, and with the other hand just kinda slap the scrap you want to cut off. Plexiglass is harder to cut than real glass. I made an art project once where I made boxes out of sheets of plexi (origonally they were just going to be plexi fronts and carboard sides, but then I decided to make them smaller with plexi sides, and so I had to cut down all the peices I ordered.... very tough to break. Especially when you just spent $60 on plexiglass for an art exhibit.)

okay, none of that will work, I looked into it and it seems to have been a bad, bad idea in the first place.... work commences tomorrow!!
It's going to be a really, really rough cut, but I'll just put some silicone or something on the end maybe...I'll see when I get there
