just back from the glasgow gig last night so i thought i'd write a quick review for y'all. The set list was much the same as the setlists that have been previously posted from other shows, almost all new stuff. nothing from the first two albums at all. Nick oliveri was supporting and playing guitar for mark, well playing guitar for parts of whatever songs he knew!!! It wasn't the best (or most together) lanegan concert i've been to, but it rocked. It was a lot heavier than any other of his solo shows i've been to which suited me fine. High lights were mark joining nick for 4 corners and both ivy and gospel plow and the bass player chucking a tantrum and throwing his guitar off the stage when he broke a string during driving death valley blues (well it made me laugh!!!). As you would expect the interaction between mark and the crowd was minimal. The only thing he said was "thanks for coming out tonight. goodnight." then headed off towards the bar.

Yeah amazing night, though i thought his last visit to Glasgow when he played the Cathouse was better. I was a little bummed that there was no female vocals for the new material - i thought the chick who sang with Nick Oliveri for his set was gonna come back for Mark. Can anyone tell me who she was?

was she a red-head? she was at Manchester last night, and Katakuri, Foz and myself were of the mind that it was Melissa Auf de Maur.
might not have been though...

Hmmm, not sure if she was a read head, possibly browny/red but her hair was real distinctive - really big and frizzy, so much so that it hid alot of her face... quite hot though. Im fairly sure it wasnt Auf Der Maur. Maybe it was Nick's girlfriend?

First post. Hi all. Sincerely, i was surprised i didnt know nick was supporting mark in his concerts, i just arrived at the show when he was singing alone, nice surprise . But the show of mark left me a little cold, i mean, the set list was good but i didnt like the sound very much, in my opinion mark's voice was not enough loud. This was my first concert of mark's band, i saw him with qotsa a couple of times and his voice blow me away each one. In this one i didnt feel the same. I didnt expect him to interact with the people so that was ok. I dont know anything about the girl that sang with nick, sorry. And i missed some girl vocals with some of the bubblegum's songs . Anyway i enjoyed. d4rko PD. Sorry for my english.

Nick's lady will have to remain a mystery for a wee while yet, as she didn't appear tonight.
EDIT: The lovely de Worde says that it seems to be Nick's girlfriend Marissa who also appears on the last Mondo EP...
