I ordered mine of cduniverse.com about a month and a half ago when they said it was being released on cd on Dec 7th. It never happened.
Although since amazon & cduniverse.com both say it comes out on Jan 25th then I may just get my album.

I just checked Amazon's web site and Clairvoyance is still there. I think it's actually going to happen this time! I wonder how many copies they have though? I mean, just because I pre-ordered it, is it guaranteed that I'll get the CD?

i don't like early Trees albums. nor does mark lanegan. i like quite a lot of the 80's Trees stuff... buzz factory is cool, and fair portions of even if... and invisible lantern are good as well.

I just got an email form cduniverse.com apparently my copy of clarvoyance is on backorder. even though I ordered it 2 months ago same here. i've had loads of 'we are processing your order' type emails, but i just checked their site and it says "this item [clairvoyance] is no longer available". i also pre-ordered with amazon, but they are still showing it as an outstanding order, but with delivery predicted tomorrow. they're hopeful.

I just checked over at Amazon and they say that I should get the album between Feb 1-Feb 3.
Some ST I like, some I don't. I listened to what I could from the Amazon web site and thought it sounded good. I don't care if Mark doesn't like ST stuff, *I* like ST stuff.

That is actually a very good point. Plus why on earth would you want to get all Cat Stevens stuff? Are you not well?

anyone know if the Connors know anything about this? last I heard, they weren't aware of it's being reissued Gary Lee certainly does, as he mentions it on his website - IIRC, he was quite looking forward to it (despite it apparently being a bootleg - the band don't seem to be getting any cash from it anyway) as he's not heard it for a while. It's a pretty good release - fans of the really old material will really like it as it bridges the gap between Other Worlds and Even If and especially When, although I have to say that my fave track on it (The Turning) is a replication of the track on the first EP...

Fuck I love Amazon. So I pre-ordered Clairvoyance which was released on Tuesday but I had never received an e-mail saying that they shipped me the CD so I sent them an e-mail asking where it was and they had this to say:
Thanks for writing to Amazon.com.
"Clairvoyance" has proven to be a very popular item.
We have many customer orders for this item, and we've just begun receiving copies from our suppliers. We are filling orders as quickly as we can on a first-come, first-served basis. We ordered this item from another supplier, and hope to deliver it by February 03, 2005.
Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.
To help compensate you for this unexpected change, I upgraded the shipping method to Two Day Shipping at no additional charge.
Sweet! They were so nice, I thought. It sounds like Amazon is much more on top of this than that CD Universe place.

Yeah, I recently learned that the people at Amazon really go out of their way to please their customers. The shit costs enough money, guess it's the least they can do.
