i find amazon cheap – especially for CDs. but then again, our currency sucks. maybe we should just become the 54th (?) state...

I believe Amazon UK is cheaper, I usually just shop there when I want to get albums before the US release date and yes, your currency does suck.

Fuck I love Amazon. So I pre-ordered Clairvoyance which was released on Tuesday but I had never received an e-mail saying that they shipped me the CD so I sent them an e-mail asking where it was and they had this to say: Thanks for writing to Amazon.com. "Clairvoyance" has proven to be a very popular item. We have many customer orders for this item, and we've just begun receiving copies from our suppliers. We are filling orders as quickly as we can on a first-come, first-served basis. We ordered this item from another supplier, and hope to deliver it by February 03, 2005. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience. To help compensate you for this unexpected change, I upgraded the shipping method to Two Day Shipping at no additional charge. Sweet! They were so nice, I thought. It sounds like Amazon is much more on top of this than that CD Universe place. I mailed Amazon asking for my CD and they just sent me a link to 'Track My Order'. Not fair! Favouratism methinks!

That is odd. I received a message the other day saying that the shipment finally came in and that they mailed my CD. So maybe you complained too late.
Me, I complained early. I have patience for nothing.

Managed to finally find a re-release of this album last week and its stayed fixed in the player since...still cannot believe it's from '86........for fuck sake I was in Year 8 still listening to Van Halen and Zeppelin...what was I thinking.
When I was at the gig at The Zoo last year...I met this fella who had a brother the spitting image and size of Gary Van Conner. We both accidentally bumped into Mark in the dunny before he went on....highlight of my sychophanitic life thus far. Got to shake his hand and give him a pep up...I was on the gear and he just gave me one of his familiar eyebrow raises and smirks...made me feel a little small actually.
Anyhow, this fella i met at the gig kept saying into the first few songs, 'Could I hear Jim Morrison's spirit in Mark's voice'? To which I replied shut the fuck up Morrison's dead and buried and this guy's wailing his heart out. BUT after listening to Clairvoyence I now know what he meant.
Does anyone know how old Mark was in 1986? A few of us have a bet at the minute and I'm tipping he was 19. I spotted on this forum he recently turned 40 but was that crap?
