You know, with the lack of good CDs being made these days, I figured people would be all over this Massey Hall CD like stink on shit. Come on folks, do like the title of this thread says: APPRECIATE Neil Young. what are you talking about? there are tons of good cd's being made these days? I would much rather have something new and fresh then some rehash of shit made in 1970 whatever?

How is it that a burnt out old hippie is way ahead of the curve when it comes to BluRay?
That fucking Archives set (aside from an annoyingly oversized box) is incredible.

God damn 'On The Beach' is an unreal album. yes. i remember the first copy i had - before the CD re-release, i couldn't get hold of the a copy of the vinyl but got a recording of it. it is beyond belief. the 'ditch trilogy'. that's where it's at. go an find Time Fades Away. Love in Mind = genius.

I just went to buy this for a Christmas present after I read this post, but it is $200.00. Guess I will keep looking. $200 well spent if you ask me. I've got hours of enjoyment from it and I haven't got all the way through it yet. As far as boxed sets go, he is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY ahead of the curve. IMO Le Noise should be a contender for album of the year 2010.

I am sure it is worth the $, but it far exceeds my budget for friends. However, $11.88 for Le Noise is much more doable. ;D
