Awww, I wish I could've met you. I ran into the singer of Throw Rag and told 'em they rocked. He was very nice. They had me laughing like crazy. i was right at the back, by the merch table. i missed throw rag.

it's a shame you missed throw rag dude. heavy revealage of cock and a fat washboard player make for tremendous entertainment.
and i think lanegan has a personal vendetta against you, and that you are in fact the reason for the latest cancellations.
i now blame you, and solely you, for my waste of a detroit trip last year.

oh, the fat washboard player. i saw him trying to peddle the throw rag merch... isn't he fuckin dreamy?
the cat's out of the bag now. put the rumours to rest. the REAL reason he was a no show is cause he found out i was there.
i wonder if i did manage to see the last lanegan/queens show ever. only time will tell.

you're twisted. i did however think that the lead singer looked a little like a shorter, less healthy version of ml. maybe i'm the twisted one.

From qotsa.com if you guys haven't seen it already:
Minneapolis
Hello everybody, I would just like to say I'm really sorry for cancelling last nights Minneapolis show. I have been trying to sweat out this flu that has kept me in bed w/ a 101+ fever for 4 days now. After doing my best to make it through the Vic Theatre show in Chicago, things took a turn for the worse. It's as if I haven't fully recovered from the illness that stopped me cold in Europe. I know that some of you drove great distances for the minneapolis show only to find it was cancelled & I know how pissed I would be. I know because 1) I am a music fan & 2) I also drove a great distance to play (I didn't go to minneapolis to check out the mall). It's very difficult to spread the word & reach everybody when it comes to stuff that sucks, like cancelling. I was hoping I could pull off the show, but dehydration from sweating & puking for days on end left me weak & halucinating. I will play the rest of the dates no matter what mental or physical state I'm in. But then, I did an unfortunate thing...for the first time I read some of your posts. I will be responding to some of you directly. My name will be JOSHUA (all caps). I say this so that you know who it is that you are listening to when I respond to what you have written. Please try to remember that we (the Queens) have worked hard to make this site as cool a place as possible for the community we've built together (all of you & the Queens) to hang & shoot the breeze. Whenever I meet people from the site on the streets, I treat you with respect & I ask that you treat my loved ones with the same respect.
This isn't another piece in a conspiracy puzzle. It's fuckin' Rock n' Roll... Thanks for listening, Joshua Homme -----------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, he said he'd play the rest of the dates in whatever condition he's in which I don't think he should've said b/c who knows how fucked up he could get. He may have to cancel again and I didn't see him mentioning coming back to Minneapolis in the future so that still sucks.

Yeah, some insane Rekord Rekords posters may have turned him against Minnesota for good.

The man speaks sense. Get your money back and go and get drunk. It's just a band, they will be back.
