Anyone know if a reunion would be likely? Just listening to Dust and for an album that's nearly ten years old (Damn that makes me feel old) it hasn't aged a day. Maybe with bands like Dinosaur Jr & The Pixies touring again The Trees might be tempted.
Anyone ever read any interviews with the band members where this is brought up?
Do we even want a reunion what with the quality of Lanegans solo material and colaborations?

According to ML when asked last year about this topic he said that one of the Van's has a family he is protising, the other has his own music thang, Martin's busy with Tuatara and he is busy with all his collabs and QOTSA touring....their touring for the next two years so I doubt very much anything happening within that time frame. I bet the gravy train will depart again one day when they all laying back in retirement. ML combining Tuatara would be cool

I didn't think he was on the QOTSA tour? Bah it's unlikely anyway I suppose, if they were going to do it they would probably do it now to support the new album. Plus he's got the Isobel Campbell & Guttertwins Albums coming up. I suppose the fact that Lanegan selected all the tracks on the new album is a good sign though, atl east he obviously still has an intrest in the group. I'll keep dreaming I guess

EODM what a gig that will be. Jealous big time. They must be coming from UK before they reach us down here.

I nearly shat meself when they did "Gospel Plow" in Seattle a couple years ago, then I did shat meself when he brought Van up for that shaky revisit to Dollar bill. I think those little moments plant seeds...
At least it may have been a slow start to something. I do believe that they will reunite eventually. If noone dies. I think that it may take some sort of near death experience for one of the members to get behind it.

That sounds Awesome, he's a busy fella at the moment so it's probably not going to happen in the near future but who knows, even if they did what Dinosaur Jr are doing at the moment and just doing a one off tour that would be great.
