Apparently, their 3rd album is gonna be released on August 23rd and a show is already planned in London on September 10th. I can't wait to hear how it's gonna sound like!

I wondered when that was gonna happen. Campbell/Lanegans ex lead guitarist Jim is a mate of mine. I recall him saying Iha stays at Isobels place all the time.

You're more than welcome, I'm glad I could help! I hope they're gonna do some kind of a European tour and stop in France for instance... As much as I like travelling to see bands, my wallet would welcome a show in Paris!

The Barbican is very efficient - tickets arrived yesterday - it's probably a good venue for this kind of thing (only other time I've been was to see Mavis Staples). I rather liked the Union Chapel setting for last year's concert - but having reserved seats here is a big plus.

this collaboration is still not my cup of tea, im afraid. i was hoping for the solo album to be done or nearly done by September, but this seems to throw that off target a bit. oh well. mid-2011 for the solo album...? later?

The Barbican show has been confirmed, as well as 11 September, Paris, at Cafe de la Danse. There should be more confirmed dates with Isobel coming next week.

Hmm, Sunrise? Coincidence, or another version of Mark's tune? And Time of the Season....Zombies cover? I could dig a Mark & Isobel cover of that.

"Snake Song" and "No Place to Fall" are the titles of songs by Townes Van Zandt. Maybe this a covers album?
