In the singles section you’ve got ML /DG 2015 Split - I’m guessing that’s RSD Needle of death?

In the singles section you’ve got ML /DG 2015 Split - I’m guessing that’s RSD Needle of death? That's right :-). I changed that and also moved it to the right section (Mark Lanegan with Duke Garwood). This is also where to find the Cold Molly 10".

Added „Mad Season – Rareties Collection“ to Bootlegs Added „Barret Martin – Soundtrack Project“ to Future Projects what are these? The first one is a recently released Bootleg. I bought it, but haven't listened to it yet. Doesn't seem to be that great though. Something for insane collectors like me :-) But if you interested, you can find it here (there are 3 different colours available):
The other one is this:

Why the heck isn't locomotive on this bootleg? Wasn't Slip Away the song that Mark recorder for the reissue? If you going to bootleg, at the very least, be thorough in what you steal.

Parts Unknown theme.
Should unreleased stuff be included? Cook County soundtrack songs, Blood and Crackers, Josephine. Anything else?

Thanks for compiling this over the years. I have surely lost track of all his guest appearances, so I need to check out quite a few of them. Just a thought; maybe a YouTube/Spotify/Whatever-Playlist of these things could be a good thing to listen to all of these tunes?

Here is the link to it. you can barely hear anything, so I'm not sure if credit is given in the closing credits. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJhBC_01s-QIt was discussed on this board as far back as 2006: Yup - at the same time that All Systems Go member John Kastner played on Lanegan's Sideways in Reverse (just before Greg Dulli, Melissa Auf Der Maur , Mathias Shneeberger, Pete Stahl and That Bloke Out Of The Dickies helped out on ASG's 2nd Album), Mark contributed vocals to ASG's cover of Slow's Have Not Been the Same that ended up as Phil The Alien's opening song.

Just wanted to thank hangingtree for compiling all these releases together. There was a time in the late 90s and early 00s when finding obscure Lanegan tracks on CD was a fun little trip, and then hearing them, especially amazing tracks like Café, She's Not For You etc. Now it seems an almost impossible mission, which is kind of awesome in way. At least there's Youtube to hear them. I don't envy the official Lanegan team organizing any kind of rarities collection in the future, let alone arranging rights & clearance. But who knows...

I do hope a lot of these rare tracks and collaborations on other artist records get released as an album or box set. However we will have to wait to see what his estate wishes to do.

I just found these demos on Youtube with this comment : "You may consider me the head of the snake regarding these demos:. a who knows what generation analog tape dub was passed along to me by Trina L* the fall before WFTHG released with the label "Mark in the studio - 1991" and outside of personal friends / direct family I kept these to myself until the advent of AOL and my use of such in 99 chatting in the long hours one evening when I met Raeni (Debbi Sullivan) who IM bombed me when I was chatting about the demos with a friend of hers. I guess it was worth her friendship (and the many other saplings friends since) that these demos now are online (I believe the best source that exists are a private remaster of my original cassette facilitated by S Virone that at one point landed on bit torrent / dimeadozen). Not sure if these are the same, but I'll listen and see. Hopefully the original poster and others find this information interesting/useful * I'm pretty sure the garbled noise at the beginning is actually Trina and hubby in the background before starting the dub" www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1ST5gyJpns

Yeah, that's me ^^
I didn't make the YT vid in question, but I was responsible for the spread of these demos originally (by sending them outside of my household to Deb)
Also, in the early oughts I remember someone having another set of Whiskey Demos up on eBay that I assumed were these, but the tracklist was different and included River Rise. I'm pretty sure onewhiskey members where vying to win them to then spread them to all fans and in the end the auction was ended by the "copyright holder"

Somehow the only WFTHG demo tape I had a download of was a different one that I can't remember when I acquired but may have been from earlier this year. Here's the info file for the flacs I have:

Yeah, that tracklist is pretty much what I remember from that eBay auction back then, nice to see it made it out in the world. Do any of the songs differ in vocals as radically as the '91 tape? Is "train song" Beggar's Blues? What is "sister ernestine's wedding" all about? thanks again in advance for any information mad Somehow the only WFTHG demo tape I had a download of was a different one that I can't remember when I acquired but may have been from earlier this year. Interesting. Thanks for posting that. Quick listen - it sounds like an alt mix or and advance tape; less of a demo. I'll have to give it a detailed listen to see if there are any mix difference.
