Hey everyone - no need to reply to this thread, I'm just doing this as an announcement thing:
As a dumb American, I have very little knowledge of some of the places listed in the upcoming Euro dates. I have tried to find links to some of the venues, but if anyone sees tickets going on sale for their local show, please do send me a link (by email, see my signature below!)
If any of the country names, etc, are not spelled correctly, or if there are any other silly mistakes, please let me know!
And lastly, check the Italian dates very carefully. The dates I have on the tours page are DIFFERENT than the order they are in in Beggars Mailout. I have them the way I do because an Italian fan sent me links to the individual shows at the individual venues, and they list them differently! I can't say which is right, so for now I'm going with the venues.
Gracias.

I have a reply for this thread: [glow=red,2,300]DAMN EUROPEANS[/glow] thanks, you needn't worry too much,i can almost definitely confirm that we europeans will all die. thinking about it,the attitude of people like you towards your gentler, nicer smelling, less gun toting, ticker tape ignoring, more cultured cousins is quite possibly/almost guaranteed to be the reason mark had the other board closed to non europeans. don't forget he loves us,just cos we're better, and mark is never wrong.

Aha I thort you wuz being clever with a word what I didn't know. Le singe est dans l'arbre was (so too with Mr Izzard) the first French sentence taught to me at school many many many years ago and put to full use since I can assure you.

did you have to put a monkey in a tree, a cat on a table and a mouse under the chair in order to have any real, meaningful conversation with frenchmen?

Indeed, all those rumours about Frenchmen in the bedroom are true.

it is indeed izzard, yet bastardised. in the same way that the song green door, made famous by wynder k frog?became Grun Fenetre to a linguistically challenged friend of mine whilst we were in a cafe in france,it only really applies to one user of this forum, but boy do i find it funny.

Maybe he should form the Orange Panthers. He could have Judith Chalmers, Wes Brown, Dale Winton and Tufty in his little club.

HI there I'm new to the board but a more than a decade long Mark Lanegan fan. I'm a small Welsh grrl and devout blues and grunge {yeah I know the term is defunct} fan, with my music loves being Mark Lanegan, Screaming Trees, AIC, Jerry Cantrell, Soundgarden, Audioslave and John Fusciante. Bout the UK dates, the sites are driving me crazy as they do not list the Mark Lanegan Band dates so you can't buy tickets grrr. Anyone got any info on when these tickets are gonna be on sale? I hope to get to a few more dates in the UK after seeing Mark in London on the 1st of September and being blown away by the experience. Anyone wanna join me on a trek through a few UK cities to see Mark.

I'll be a-doing Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield as hopefully will Katakuri - I'm maybe thinking about squeezing London in as well but my fair skin reacts badly in the tropical Southern climate so I may give that one a miss. Tickets should be up shortly - I'm checking places daily so will post something when they become available if I'm not beaten to it

I'm thinking Leeds, London, Birmingham. As an incentive for ya to come to London, I could supply ya with a free place to stay, basically a hotel room near to the gig as I will be solo going to London and two sleeper rooms are cheaper than singles, I travel a lot. I'm not scary, so if your interested just say so. LOL on the skin thing, I'm from Wales btw. Oh yeah I'm checking the gig sites daily too.

Oren, the french gig will prob be good if you want to see one oversees, French crowds are very enthusiastic and the venue is pretty small and intimate, also if Melanie can't make it, you're welcome to join me for the gig in London.

I should be able to make it down there, but it's going to take some serious last-minute buggering-about-with to get my arrangements sorted out, as I have to be back in work in Manchester the following morning. Still, I'm always up for a challenge...
