I'm really sorry to announce this here, it being so close to the dates, I don't know the exact details, but Mark was involved in a car crash - he's okay (ie not seriously injured), but has been told to rest, so has had to cancel his East Coast tour dates
The west coast dates are still confirmed and happening
Oct 10 - San Diego, CA - Casbah Oct 11 - Los Angeles, CA - El Rey Oct 12 - San Francisco, CA - Great American Music Hall Oct 14 - Seattle, WA - Showbox Oct 15 - Portland, OR - Doug Fir Lounge
Once again, I'm really sorry to anyone has tickets for this - if I hear of any dates being rescheduled I'll let you all know.

it's ok, I'd probably be dead angry too, in fact I was recently when I spent a ton of money to go see dEUS at the Leeds Festival - just for them to cancel, me £100 down... and them a very ill guitarist...
so I do understand... I don't know if it means the US dates will be rescheduled later this year or anything.. fingers crossed

I still have some residual anger about the (several pairs of) MC5 tickets I bought expecting him to be there.
Mark Lanegan sure costs me a lot of money for nothing in return.

Of course, it's not his fault. It's just kind of maddening that the West Coast and Europe always get their Lanegan shows, no matter what.
Okay, I'm gonna take my $150 that I would have spent on a hotel room and go buy fall clothes.

Mark Lanegan sure costs me a lot of money for nothing in return. i was thinking about who should be more upset..... you or me? and after further analysis and introspection, i have realized that you are far more fucked than me. i still have the los angeles show, and it's only 20 minutes from my pad. you, on the other hand, have to come to the west coast, again. my most sincere condolences to you and yours.

stone, I can't even believe all the things that Mark has put you through.
Mark should play a special show just for you.
In your living room.

Of course, it's not his fault. It's just kind of maddening that the West Coast and Europe always get their Lanegan shows, no matter what. Tell me about it. He was finally gonna make his way over here and then something like this happens. I'm glad he's ok, but this sucks.
