you poor bastards.
but i have a solution.
you need to create some kind of political situation on the east coast. mark will have to tour there as a cover to investigate it (see my previous theory of him being a CIA agent).

I'm am really sad to see the east coast dates cancelled. But that so pales in significance to the facts of what has happened. Yeah, they are saying he's OK, but he's not OK enough to do those shows. I'd give up the west coast dates in a second for this NOT to have happened at all. I just hope everything turns out alright, and he gets well soon.

If I was you, I would be pissed off as hell. what a son of a bitch.. I hope he'll make it up for you guys.. I hope so too. Instead of going back to Europe, he should do the East coast dates instead...but you didn't hear me say that aloud.

I still have some residual anger about the (several pairs of) MC5 tickets I bought expecting him to be there. Mark Lanegan sure costs me a lot of money for nothing in return. STP - well, it's your own fault really. you do too much planning. too much organisation and forethought into such things. you need to take more of a rock n roll, last minute approach, and things will be good. and more exciting. and fun. anyway, i hope the big man is ok. best wishes to him. it SOUNDS like it wasnt a bad crash or anything.

I hope he's ok too. I was being selfish yesterday. Well, more than usual anyway.
I will go back to being my usual selfish self, rather than the extra selfish self I was yesterday.

I can't believe it. The last time he had a show scheduled in Philly in support of 'Field Songs'. It was around my birthday. Then he cancels to go join QOTSA.
I can't ever remember him doing a solo show on the East Coast. It was going to be so cool - acoustic in a small setting.
Oh well. Guess, I'm going to have to buy a house in the UK and one in Seattle to catch him.
Get well Mark - I love you, but I hate you.

We're actually lucky we got this much notice. This could have potentially cost me a $200 trip if the cancellation was the day of the show. We're also lucky that Mark continues to survive calamity and catastrophe so that we can have great music.

Anyway, as long as he fully recovers...

that sucks, for people other than myself.
i hope he's alright and all that.
maybe this is just some trick so that mark will never have to go to the east coast, i can't blame him though, that place sucks.

I am sure he does his best, but dont be fooled that musicians live for you. Its a co existence, if one of you had the shits or something and missed one of his gigs I am sure he wouldn't come to your house and give you trouble. By the sounds of it he does so many gigs in Europe cos he likes to travell and see new places. Can't begrudge a man that. Get well soon hope you make Manchester.

By the sounds of it he does so many gigs in Europe cos he likes to travell and see new places. Can't begrudge a man that. Get well soon hope you make Manchester. I don't think musicians live for me and I'm sure no one else in this thread thinks that so whatever... If I missed one of his gigs, of course he wouldn't come lookin' for me, he doesn't know me. Am I the one who's in demand? Am I the one everyone wants to see? No. So again another shite point. ...and I'm glad he likes to travel and you lot over in the UK get to see him so much, good for you. If this was the other way around and he cancelled shows in the West coast and the UK, I'm sure some of you would be singing a different tune. It's so easy to talk shit when you still get to see him. I admit I was upset and disappointed at first, but you can't blame me. I know it's not his fault he got into a car accident, but he never makes his way to the East Coast. I'm over it now, I don't give a fuck anymore.

There may still be hope though LDG. Didn't someone here say that they caught wind that those canceled shows were merely postponed.
I think it's only fair that if Mark tours Europe twice, he tours the States twice.
That's all I'm sayin'.
That would be so nice because right now, it's iffy if I can go to Mark's Seattle gig.

LDG MAYBEE HE JUST DOESN'T LIKE TRAVELLING TO THE LEFT OF COUNTRIES. Didn't meen to piss you off and that and am pleased to hear that Americans also use the word Shite. The Screaming Trees never played Europe much so you over there got to see a little more of them. Chill out, I had just found out that the man was in a car crash so whether you could go to see him or not was redundant to me. And yes a lot of the points I make are shite but I am going to see Lanegan and your not so ha ha ha ha.
