Can you take me in too. Dope 'n Daze in your house. How much fun could that be? I hate that Bush has been re-elected. I really thought that Kerry was going to make it. I'm scared and nervous to think about what is going to happen over the next four years. And stop voting for Nader you freakin' tards! He ain't gonna win -- ever! So send your vote to the candidate that has a sporting chance. Sheesh. Me too! Though I admit, I might be a bit depressed at first. And not only am I scared about the next four years, terrified, in fact. But I am truly frightened about Bush's stamp on the upcoming supreme court appointees, which have a possibilty of lasting 40 more years.

you shouldn't be too sad. you've got four years of:
being able to say 'well, i sure as hell didn't vote for him'.
driving around Ohio hunting rednecks.
investing heavily in arms manufacturers.
asking John Kerry, 'why the long face?' *
* i stole that joke. just to let you know.

does Ohio have rednecks? Where is it?
EDIT:
after some research:
That's odd, I imagined Ohio to be in the south, but it's all the way up there near Canada.
Why is it so conservative? Or is it an older population centre or something? inform me! i'm actually interested in your country.

From my husband...who successfully tore himself from Ohio's stronghold on his childhood and proceeded to leave town at 17 because of people's small-mindedness: Ohio has a huge majority of rednecks whose biggest export is denial. A majority of it is rural. Its part of the bible belt. Religion plays a huge part. People want to huddle together in masses, blend in and do as your neighbor does. God forbid anyone should stick out or think for themselves.

I was miserable at first, but I'm gradually getting over it. Bush is the president now and that's just the way it is. One thing I can do is follow Lanegan's lead and move to Europe. That's what my friend and I plan on doing. Fuck this.

Saddest thing is that reports seem to show that the 18-24 vote was no different in numbers to that of 2000. So all the efforts of so many people to try and galvanise the youth into voting, rather than have them expect the "right" result to be handed to them on a plate, was all for nothing.
Jello Biafra was right. The whole Emo/Slacker "movement" was the best thing to happen to US politics from a politician's standpoint - if a whole generation can't be bothered to do anything because they already believe that nothing's going to change if they participate (because some floppy-haired twat on MTV told them so), then nothing is going to change. Coming from a very politically-active family, this sickens me to the very core.

He's right!
Unless you live in southern Spain where the weather is always warm. Oh, that is where you live...isn't it?
But London is shit: Expensive, overcrowded, cold. Did I say expensive?

Well I plan on going to London next year just to meet up with some peeps. I wouldn't live in London though. I've heard many say it's very expensive.
I guarantee it's not as shite as Detroit anyway.

I wouldn't live in London though. I've heard many say it's very expensive. Not as expensive as Oslo (nowhere is that expensive), so don't move here either (although any lost americans on the run from Bush can stay with me). Why would you move to London (or Oslo) where the prime minister supports the politics of Bush? Go to Stockholm, it's nice... Cold and expensive, but nice...

Holland however is pretty neat. I recommend it. I'd crash on your couch if you let me Shonie. ;D I don't think your hometown would be ready for the two of us. We'd have a lot of fun together though. It sounds like every place over in Europe is both cold and expensive.

*sigh*
As much as I would like to move away from here, I don't really see that happening. Stuck with Bush for four more years. *shiver*
Think I'll just stay in Seattle where it's cold and expensive.
