He read the old board. He knows you'd attend a Seattle show. Stage fright? You know.. The pressure to perform, the fear of failing, the horror of possibly having to listen to the words "it's alright, honey, it happens to every man once in a while.." Don't worry, hopefully everything will turn out alright on your third try, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Stage fright instead of food poisoning?! Actually, with the way I carried on over at the old board it was probably more like "Daisy fright." Maybe he just couldn't find enough security or something and wasn't going to risk going on stage without big burly men protecting his sweet ass? Maybe he thought I'd bumrush the stage and wasn't up for seeing some scantily clad strange lady running up to him, hurling herself on stage while proclaiming her love for him? Tsh. But he's supposed to come back in a few months so this will just give me more time to perfect my plans. *rubs hands together with seedy look in eyes*

Yeah, I'm not very happy either with that. I came down from Vancouver for that show, took vacation days, took the 4 hours bus, rent a hotel room. Those 2 days were Hell beginning from end!! Everything was going wrong, so like 5 min. before they make the annouce, I told my friend "what if Mark doesn't show up?". And guess what??? Do you think you'll be able to make it out for his next show? I feel really bad for people who came in from out of town. That's a lot of money wasted. Or maybe not... did you at least get to wander around Seattle a bit and enjoy the city?

mmmmm......shelly im bad with song names, but the setlist france posted seems pretty acurate. Icarus Line was great (as I tried to tell you m0f0s ) the best part of there set was this heckler after the first song saying the typical (you guys suck) so the guitarist called him up to the stage and started swinging his guitar at him and hit him a couple of times hehehe. Nick's set was dreadful to my ears, was not really familiar with his acoustic stuff, but its definitely not my cup of tea. Sounded ok but I was not into this at all Mark came on and the place starting swingin, his music comes across alot heavier in this enviroment, even makes sideways in reverse bearable he was his typical chatty self thruout....I think he said thanks once If he did an encore after Meth blues I missed it as I was out of gas and had an hour drive to get home.......but I must say he was intense last night....wish I could go tonight Did not see any of the peeps from the board unless somebody was the hot girl at the bar with lots of tattoos I was "chatting" with The guitarist... the Van Leeuwen hotty look-alike? Icarus Line all looked so tiny. Tiny men. Except for the one tall guy with blond hair that was absolutely butchered. I don't know what that hair do was all about. I'm sorry to hear you thought Nick's set was awful. Did you like his Seattle performance better? You went to the Seattle show, right?

I actually dug it because it was not what you usually hear at a show and because he had a good voice. I think it's just the artist person in me enjoying seeing someone do whatever the hell they feel like doing creatively. I just respect that stuff.

Sorry for that post, just woke up Yeah, I will be able to be at the next Seattle show. I just hope it will be in January or Feb. cause I don't have any vacation left, so before that I would have to take a day or 2 without pay, and it's already expensive for a show! I still did enjoy Seattle! The only thing was the food, those 2 days everything I ate ( or tried) was discusting! I was close to being sick myself, but managed to keep it inside! Didn't get food poisoning !!

Oh no! What kinds of foods did you eat? Next time, maybe I can help you pick out better restaurants so that you don't feel so ill and eat the wrong foods at the wrong places.
I hope that Mark plays in January too. December wouldn't be all that bad but January would be better. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

....I'll lend you my transquiliser gun & net if you like.......... But that would put him physically out of commission. Not exactly what I'm going for.
