Haha... it was at the sports camp of my high school, I even had a teacher and all that. I was a catcher and for a while I used to have this kind of tick thing, I took my mask off with my left hand, so glove got off as well and I was left standing there, to catch the ball with my bare hands... did I mention I sucked at it? That's why football/soccer's the most popular around here you don't need all the props to play it

bad luck foz.
Messi vs Messy for 80minutes tonight though, wasnt it?
you had nothing in the middle of the pitch. would love to have seen a Roy Keane-type and a peak era Scholes through the middle for you, but you had nothing there. Where the fuck is Owen Hargreaves (one of my favourite players of the last decade) these days? he's gonna turn into one of those Jamie Redknapp / Darren Anderton types who are totally ruined by injury, isnt he?

Hargreaves is on the brink of fitness. Although that's something I also have said of myself for the best part of two decades. But, unlike me, he will be a great boost for United's midfield next season.
First 9 minutes we looked ace, and Barca were on the back foot. thew Eto'o got the ball in the one place where I knew they were going to score from, and he scored. After that, we looked punchdrunk. Barcelona were always going to be iffy at the back, but we never got far enough to test them - their midfield is simply awesome. Really lovely for Henry to say what he said at the end, but he was flattering a pisspoor performance.
2 things that were learnt from tonight:
1: Barcelona are the best team in the world 2: Tevez is not worth 25 and a half million quid of anyone's money. City are welcome to him and after a month of him shooting his mouth off about wanting to play elsewhere, he shouldn't have set foot on the pitch tonight.

i like Tevez. at least he's got some fight in him - although is he just fighting for a big contract, or is it actually his character..?
anyway, id rather have 1x Tevez than 2x Berbatov... but that... is just... an odd thought.

in summary- Rooney wasted on the wings, Ronaldo wanting to score a winner... and a few players shown up as journeymen who would go unnoticed in an average Prem team. you've got too many average players who fill in gaps.
o'shea.. park... carrick... etc... nothing special.

Tevez works hard, but he scored 5 goals this season. It's too much money. To be fair on O'Shea, he's not supposed to be anything special. But he was out of his depth tonight and maybe Rafael should have taken over at half time. Park? I'm undecided. His workrate is ace but there's not always something to show for it. Like Tevez, but a lot cheaper and not quite so stroppy.
Ronaldo did as well as he was allowed to and it was nice to see a flash of urgency from him (unlike a lot of his teammates), but he's never 100% happy in the middle. And mad as it sounds, losing tonight will almost certainly mean that he will be at Old Trafford next season, which I'm more than happy about. Rooney was put out on the left to provide a double defence with Evra against Messi, but Messi's not Theo Walcott.
