If this was $25 + $5 to ship nobody would be complaining lol. He also may be using priority mail to ship the LP's instead of media mail. Priority would be $7.55 if its around 1.5-2 lbs. The extra shipping charge could also be to discourage flippers, which is a major problem around RSD. At any rate, I'm very excited these were put for sale for US customers. THIS Nailed it moorfiend, especially the flipping issue. Nice job.

Received this in the mail today. The packaging left a little to be desired (shipped in a thick envelope with no padding instead of a record mailer) but the LP arrived undamaged and sounds great. Big thanks to Barrett and Van for getting these pressed on vinyl and in my hands before Record Store Day!

Got mine today, too. Shipped media mail, by the way, and also in a large "sturdy" envelope. The stamps look untouched, though, so I may remove them and reuse them if I ever need them ($2.70 worth). All that aside, it is lovely to behold, the cover artwork NEEDED to be this large - I had no idea there was so much detail when I saw it cd-sized. I consider myself well satisfied with my purchase.

Dunno if it's already available, but Sunyata will now/soon ship internationally for $20 postage.

So, in summary... UK: People happy about the fact they get the chance to get up early and queue outside a shop for hours for the opportunity to maybe, hopefully, get hold of one of 500 copies of a record. Price? Equivalent of $33.28. Rest of the world: Not obsessed with consumerism. US: Can order the same product and get it delivered to their door for $30. Guaranteed to get it if they just take the time to order it. Moan about shipping. I'm a Canadian. What's my option?

Media mail from Seattle...guess it will be here around mid-week. Hope the vinyl sounds decent, really looking forward to it.

Won't hurt to email Barrett, Barrett@BarrettMartin.com - I think the US pre-orders all went out already, you should have gotten yours around the 19th, maybe a bit later as you're in Philly (I think).

Indulge me to put on my smug hat for a moment. I just bought Last Words on vinyl from a UK eBay store for £18.95. It was the last one. Barring any shite happening, I'll have it next week. Actually, make that a very, very smug hat.

This looks like being re-released (in the UK at least) in July.

You can still find copies of the red vinyl edition on eBay UK for less than 20 quid.
