No Beer On Sunday is depressing enough (darn blue laws). But the likes of that book, whew boy, favorable reviews. About how depressing it is... another fun night on the Funeral bandwagon with the Mark Lanegan Band? About ready to jump ship. To a ship set sail for the top of the pops. Poppy and peppy and plein de vie.

It's kind of strange they didn't mention the EP in the KEXP interview the other day, only the LP due in October. Just figured it would have been mentioned since the release date is supposedly in August.

£15 for a 12"? Someone's taking advantage of everyone else's temporary removal there - Rough Trade's price is £8.99...

A track list, or at least a disclosure of the number of tracks would be nice...

A track list, or at least a disclosure of the number of tracks would be nice... Exactly. Although, you gotta admit the Man isn't following the current trends, what with most musicians posting singles to social networks and whatnot. That said, I do share your feelings.

Hard not to get excited. So Judgement Time, I Am The Wolf, and (presumably) the Wild People are being saved for the LP (Phantom Radio). Can't wait to hear what direction the EP/LP go into, whether something much more electronic like Blues Funeral or something reminiscent of the folksy/blues style of his older records...or maybe something completely out of left field.

Wow this is more "news" than I expected for a Sunday. Hopefully we get a press release from Heavenly this week and maybe the new single...

Great long songs, I love long songs. This. "Smokestack Magic" might be another slow-burning psychedelic rave up in the vein of "Tiny Grain Of Truth". Can't wait to hear it.

Not just 'a Dutch cellist' but the one that was on the Imitations tour. So he's got a song named after him??? Lucky bastard

Yes the cellist on the Imitations tour, but maybe he plays on the song and someone mistook his name for the actual song title?? Confusing, isn't the song actually called Harvest Home?

Wasn't aware of who did what on that tour as I lost my job just before it happened so I ended up giving my tickets away Could be an error, until there's somewhere else that lists the tracks we 're in the dark (EDIT - it's on Heavenly's site too, so must be legit).

Weird to see that the US/Canada get this a month earlier than Europe, as it's usually the other way round.

Surprising to see North America get it first. I hope they offer a download code on the day of release
Also happy to see Johannes return as producer
