Not sure that Ipecac is allowing hotlinking, so here's the cover again As the cover states, these are publishing demos so much of it is "as is" from 2002. Unpolished Lanegan is still Lanegan though, so am really looking forward to getting hold of this. Release date now Aug 21st. EDIT: Eep - just noticed it's the week after the *expensive* Stars Of The Lid reissues. I need a second job EDIT AGAIN: also only just noticed that all record releases worldwide are going to be on a Friday from next month..

CD slightly cheaper, LP slightly more expensive at Rough Trade. Genuinely not sure if what's being posted on these things as PR is especially sarcastic or just really dumb "At the time, The Screaming Trees had recently disbanded and Lanegan was in the early years of his solo offerings ( at this point he had released a mere five solo albums)" 12 years from his solo debut is "in the early years" and 5 albums is "mere" now? At least the word gravel is thankfully absent for a change. Tiny-sized Edit: reviewing it for a site at the moment, my word it's good. I mean VERY good

I like the art. Continuing the day of the dead theme of Phantom Radio From the 30 second segments, looking forward to this! Some of this is also on Has God Seen My Shadow Anthology? (Grey Goes Black, Halcyon Daze) This would have been recorded shortly before Here Comes that Weird Chill? CD slightly cheaper, LP slightly more expensive at Rough Trade. Genuinely not sure if what's being posted on these things as PR is especially sarcastic or just really dumb "At the time, The Screaming Trees had recently disbanded and Lanegan was in the early years of his solo offerings ( at this point he had released a mere five solo albums)" 12 years from his solo debut is "in the early years" and 5 albums is "mere" now? At least the word gravel is thankfully absent for a change. probably dumb. Rough Trade recently opened a store in Williamsburg, Bk. = brain dead hipster following (too harsh? too harsh?) if you are missing the gravely, here ya go in this write up. the source of "the early years" seems to be from a press release exclaim.ca/Music/article/mark_lanegan_gathers_up_rarities_for_houston

Haha, that's even worse! It's only just sunk in as well that the Screaming Trees had "just" broken up 2 years before... The only good thing about such a release is that it'll be obvious to pick out reviews where the writers couldn't be arsed doing any research and just copy/paste that.
