I would absolutely love to hear Way To Tomorrow sung live, although he might have to trim the ending a bit and fit another song in

^^have you heard the album in its entirety? Looks like Way To Tomorrow hits the 5 min mark so I'm interested to see how it plays out....

Yeah, I'm reviewing it at the mo. Quite surprised that you can only really tell that these are demos done in a week by the way that most of them end, as it sounds like this but hadn't been 100% worked out in most cases so some tracks sort of just stop, some go on for ages

I broke down and listened to the samples even though I hate doing that--sounds very promising, like Field Songs part 2 which makes sense given the timeframe. When It's In You really stuck out as did the last 3 tracks.

Always best to avoid samples - golden rule of listening to stuff is that you only get to hear something for the first time once so it's best to avoid doing that in instalments

Good morning. Interesting reading. I look forward to hearing what everyone thinks after the vinyl is our next month. Yes, these recordings were, in fact, demos and were produced, edited and mixed with that in mind. We never considered going back in and cleaning the tracts up or revisiting the mixes. This is snapshot that specific time and space. What you hear is those 5 days. If we went back and invaded it, those days wouldn't exist on their own. Not sure if that makes sense to anyone but me. Yes, Trums, it is - Rough Trade in the UK is offering pre-sale on both vinyl and cd, Amazon UK has cd, vinyl and mp3, Amazon US and Rough Trade US are behind the times and don't offer anything yet.

Has anyone noticed that Amazon is selling the vinyl for $34 and Soundstage is selling it for $16. Wonder where I pre-ordered this from....

I pre ordered the cds of both this and the Heavenly 2CD compilation to get the Record Store Day song, which I missed out on earlier in the year. I prefer CD to Vinyl, anyway for convenience.

cameron4321 maybe they have listed a foreign vinyl copy on amazon? I ordered through amazon Germany and have recently seen a way higher price than my order price but at a closer look it seemd they have offered the US version, too which was far more expensive than the EU version I had pre-ordered. So maybe you will pay $34 for the EU version... You can tell from the Barcode amazon is listing...

Yeap, Amazon clearly lists the vinyl as an import. Still trying to decide if I want to try to find this in a store on release day or preorder it.
