I was grateful for the downloads board. lossless or mp3. You can never make everyone happy but the carry on that this lossless/mp3 topic has generated is bewildering. More important things in life to spend your energy on... put it in perspective and relax. So what fucked up my day is people whinging over something so small, luckily tho, its Saturday and I'm off to the beach!

In my home state of CA, it is all of the above: Floods - Check Mudslides - Check Drought - Check Wildfires - Check Earthquakes - Check But man, the sun shines 9 months a year. Is CA California? I must admit that of all other places that have had news coverage in Australia, California probably tops the list for always appearing every year or two. I know Australia have sent firefighters over to California in recent years. What's it like living thru an earthquake?

Thanks Foz...
Its amazing that different parts of the world are at the mercy of varying natural disasters.... we have alot of bushfires in my state and very little water, while in northern Australia they are currently experiencing manic floods. while other countries are more vulnarble to earth quakes etc.

As a tribute you should try going a week wearing his trademark khaki shorts and shirt ;D PHOTOS Contrary to what some might believe, his khaki outfit is not something most Aussies own/wear.... mines at the drycleaners

As a tribute you should try going a week wearing his trademark khaki shorts and shirt ;D I say as a tribute you should dive into open sea in bl00d-covered clothing, then start taking the piss out of marine creatures. Like him or loath his actions, he did alot more for our environment and the education/awareness of people to all animals and conservation as a whole, than most people will ever know.

You can't think??? I'm reading French slang followed by Aussie slang followed by Brit slang... It seeps into the brain...and I'm talking to my morning coworkers like a drunk Irish... ;D Oh I havent even begun with any Aussie slang yet... I dont want to mess with you Northern Hemisphere folk too much. A young lady from Manchester recently began working with us, she now proudly knows how to 'chuck a U-ee" Oh, and I send some sunshine your way Maidli
