It does sound creepy, but I like that picture. Looks like it'd make for some terrific album art.

Thanks. I was on a particularly morbid streak when I made it. The text is from a Mr. Bungle song if you're unfamiliar.

Who'da thunk that what would finally get my wireless internet working was actually following the instructions Comcast gave me. My new stove comes tomorrow. Once I make my first loaf of bread here, my new apartment will officially be my new home.

I know Bungle's first record and California, but I'm not very familiar with Disco Volante. Loved the picture, anyway. I was wondering: what does "lyrics reprinted by permission" mean? I see that on many lyric sheet... who is exactly giving permission to who and what for? I'm sure this has to do with publishing rights but still I'm confused.

I'm desperatly trying to stop my brain from naming this thesis the "Thesis of Doom". I'm pretty sure it won't do anything good for me, or help me fight off this sneaking sense of panick and stress, stress, stress. Stop, brain. STOP!

I asked my medical student friend if she knew about a way to give your brain a massage.. Nope.. That answer could've saved my life whenever I'd get a headache. No such luck. Bummer.

Sometimes you can nip a headache in the bud by squeezing the area between your thumb and pointer HARD. Works for ice cream brain freeze too.

I asked my medical student friend if she knew about a way to give your brain a massage.. Nope.. Damn... That would've eased these last 3 months of thesis-life. But thanks for asking

Whaaaat, you don't know 'Black Books'? It's a really silly - and hilarious! - sitcom with Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey and Tamsin Greig....and books, and cigarettes, and wine ;D
Found the trailer for season 2 (unfortunately they only made 3...)
And one of my favourite bits...

Frolic, means to lark about, have a jolly good time, have a laugh. It's a slightly old fashioned word for harmless fun.
