M from the Great Lakes region would like to know:
Hi and thank you so much for answering our questions. I am wondering what the creative process is like for you. When you are working on songs do you set aside time and just try to write or is it more spontaneous? For some reason I am picturing you scribbling on a napkin in a diner, something like that. What was the inspiration behind the Gravedigger's Song? If the answer is too personal, I understand.
I love the french, particularly the line "Je t'aime mon amour comme je t'aime la nuit" Tres Beaux
Merci Beaucoup~M

I heard Blues Funeral at a Listening Party. The second voice at the end of Leviathan reminded me of Carl Wilson.
Do I detect an ever so slight, slight Beach Boys influence or am I crazy?
Loved every track by the way; that one just had me shaking my head at what an odd-ball influence came to mind. Trying to picture ML listening to Pet Sounds.

I heard Blues Funeral at a Listening Party. The second voice at the end of Leviathan reminded me of Carl Wilson. "Leviathan" has Chris Goss from Masters Of Reality doin' some vocals & harmonizing. Lanegan shares a track with them on their Deep In The Hole album entitled "High Noon Amsterdam" ...get it, got it? ...I've also heard versions on youtube of Mark chiming in on their "Lovers Sky" song also...peep it! I know you love victorias secret!
