I really like the Judgement Time 'remix'. Great atmosphere. This.

yeah my cynical look on this is that it is a good marketing trick. It's good for Marks wallet and good for the wallets of his friends (and exposure)... oh well I'm probably too cynical, I'll wait and see what this is like, will I buy it? I don't know. maybe one day when mý wallet will be full... one day... Edit: Hm wait that was ugly. It's noble of him to grant his friends his stage, no maybe just fun or interesting project to do. Yep I leave it at that *big grin* late to this party, my wallet's big at the mo'. is this worth getting? people of the boards, what say you?

Sorry now Í'm late - I've become the occasionally lurker liker (still a strong ML fan of course). But to come to the point: No, not worth it haha (but then again still poor... ) you bought it anyway let us know what you think

I am interested in hearing this, but I do hope that this does not become the norm - I've just bought the album and now I'm buying it again! And this is more expensive that the original double cd package. How is this a good idea? Anyone know how the economics works for this - do the remixers get paid or what? If I was churlish, I might see a degree of cynicism in this and the plethora of live cds. a bother gotta eat

An import... the return label says Brucargo Belgium, it hath traveled in excess of a thousand miles (perhaps of mid night, or maybe in mid day...) to reach me. I've only listened to it once, and listening to it again right now. I went through an electronic phase in college, Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, Prodigy Gem smack my b* up, et al. Now I don't really listen to electronic music; that won't change with this album

Eight, no NINE years later and gotta give this set some fucking love. The whole album is very easy to let flow from start to finish, IMHO. It's impossible not to be turned on by the UNKLE remix of The Killing Season. Shit, it must've impressed Lanegan so much, he used the new arrangement as the closer of the 2019 tour. The versions from Porto and Dresden are ace. If anyone can decipher what Lanegan speils about at the end of the Dresden version (something about getting drugs and ampethamines, almost like improv spoken word) please do give it a shot! youtu.be/DR-KqDf6Krc?feature=sharedBeen playing this album a lot recently with a friend who's a huge Lanegan fan but never heard the Thousand Miles remixes, and they fucking love it too. It took me a long time to really get into Lanegan's more electronica sounds from 2012 onwards, being a dusty strings kinda guy at heart, but damn, I think this whole album cooks, especially all the killer tracks already mentioned above. 78mins too. CD copies on Discogs going cheap folks; and while the LP pressing is fabulous, the CD does allow some amazing sub-bass frequencies. Anyway - my humble pitch for an underrated release (like the SK Iyeara remix album).
