I can't believe you're not gonna be able to make it... No way you can postpone your holidays and attend other shows?

This volcano really sucks. I as many have cancelled flights. Atleast for you dutch people I hope that mark make it. If not maybe I get a chance to catch him on a future date in utrecht. No I read that the finnish tickets are all out, thats a double f-ck for me. Anyway hope you all enjoy the show!

If it's possible I'd like someone to use my Eindhoven ticket if they have someone to take who would go for free. I'm not sure how possible it would be to have my ticket left at de Efennaar's door under someone else's name but if someone wants to pm me I'm more than willing to try. Dennis, does this mean you are deciding to not go at all? Is there anything i can do for you? I could ring the venue and see if they allow your ticket to be left for someone else. You got yours in the mail right? Was that email or snail mail? If it's email i guess you could send it on to someone, hopefully someone PMed you and will pay for your ticket... If it's snail mail maybe the venue will take your ticket-number off your hands or something, i really don't know. If the gig goes ahead as scheduled i guess me and Mr. Lungs will be there. I know nobody else that will go, but i could try and sell your ticket for you if it gets to me or the venue in time? How about the Utrecht gig? Aaaawww this blows. Poor Mark must be getting pretty frustrated himself. Damn i never called the guy Mark before. This volcano crap seems to have a certain bonding aspect to it.

There is absolutely no chance of me getting over for the shows. Maybe another time. For now I'd just like someone to take the tickets, I don't care about the money, they just may as well be used. If I can get them left at the door for someone I'll do it but I didn't get electronic tickets so I'd have to have my physical copies cancelled I guess.

Aaww sweetie i am so sorry You were so looking forward to all this. I wish there was something i could do. I'll ring the venues tomorrow, see what they can do, perhaps they are willing to do a refund or something? And i promise if there is any merchandise going i'll pick you something up. Size: small? medium? large? extra large? extra extra large ?? Colour: Black? Red? Green? Blue ?? Hoodie, shirt, long-sleeve or short? etc?? I am so sorry.....

No I read that the finnish tickets are all out, thats a double f-ck for me. No, there are still some! Where have you read it? Go to www.tiketti.fi register there and you can still buy them online, I just checked. There is a red light, which means that the tickets are almost out, but not completely Hurry up!

I emailed Dave Rosser about it! He replied: "Signs look good, I think we will make it." I am not sure which signs he might be referring to (KLM is now claiming it is safe to fly, but time is running out fast), but at least it sounds hopeful

I'd really prefer it if Mark (and the rest of you lot of course) catches a flight that's really, really safe. I know I'd be crapping myself if I had to get on a plane under these conditions. Anyfuck.. Barriers, I'm pretty sure I can find someone to take your concert ticket off your hands. I have a few Lanegan fan-friends in my hometown. I'll make them pay you for it though (you're either Dutch, or you're not ) Dude, I'm so sorry you have to miss the gig. I was gonna say that re-scheduling might be the answer, but then I read Lungsey's posts. I'm voting for a gig in Lungsey and Barriers living room as soon as possible!

All eyes are turned on this volcano thing, I'm pretty sure no airplane companies would run the risk of flying if they didn't really think it was safe, so if they actually get on a plane, I'm not worried for them!

Argh damn!! I have just found out that the company I was supposed to fly with organized a bus from Helsinki to Brussels (and that's where I was supposed to go in the first place) and I would've been there tomorrow afternoon and probably could've made it to the gig. But I have already cancelled all of my hotel reservations!! This is so unfair! ((

I haven't heard from him yet so i don't know if i need to cancel anything/try and get refunds for anything. Tivoli is still listing the gig as scheduled.

Ok, here's what somebody wrote on another forum: " I had to be at the Utrecht University anyway today and the Tivoli is at walking distance. So I stopped over and I asked them about the concert tomorrow. Mark is NOT in the US. He's on a plane right now on his way to Spain where he's going to take the car or bus and travel to The Netherlands" They're gonna make it, let's keep the faith!

I'm glad I did! Apparently, they're determined to get to Utrecht so I'm sure they'll make it... they'll probably collapse from exhaustion onstage, but they'll make it!

Thanks guys, but no, there is no chance for me anyways. I was supposed to meet my dad there, but he left already yesterday. I'll just have to suck it up and wait till the last show of the tour in Helsinki. They opened the Finnish airport half an hour before my flights, but Brussels is still closed.
I'm glad he will make it to the gig and the tour will go as scheduled! Have fun at the concert and tell us asap how it went!

On the Effenaar (the venue where Mark will play on Wednesday) website it says that the show will go on as planned and that Mark is now in Europe. It also specifically mentions that a few tickets are still available for tomorrow's show in Utrecht, so that must still be on as well then. Apparently, Mark Lanegan will not be stopped by a cloud of ash.
