Thank you to both tapers for recording the NY show. Is there a consensus on which source is better? I am going to both the Dublin and Belfast shows and will probably be taping. I must release my recording of the Dublin show from August 2010 one of these days.

I'm currently editing my recordings of Spiritualized from Boston to DC in 2008 - I totally get it. And I'm back on board for the third tour in a row to do it all again this year. Jason barely changes his set, but I'll still take days off of work and pay for hotels to be a part of it. I totally get it too. There is nothing like hearing Mark's voice live....it's so much more than on the records. When the first sounds of the first song come out......I almost feel like I'm about to fall over. P.S. Will you be sharing those Spiritualized recordings? I'd love to hear them ;D

I have got to say the recordings from this show are freaking awesome. CWTAB has some great players. These songs new and old sound great and fresh. Mark sounds great. Wish you Well!!!! I am not sure if they even played this on the HCTWC tour. Loved hearing Wish You Well! That and Sleep With Me were big highlights of mine at this show. Mark was very gracious (third time meeting him, and this has always been the case) at the m & g as he chatted, signed stuff and had pics taken. Some photos I took that weren't completely dark:

I must release my recording of the Dublin show from August 2010 one of these days. Yes, the second source on DIME is better, the first source suffers from distortion. Please, please release your Dublin recording from 2010, would really love to hear it and im sure im not the ony one . All we have at the moment is a rather poor sounding mp3 copy of that show . Hope you tape Dublin and Belfast also .

I don't know how anyone could possibly have recorded the Dublin August 2010 show and make it 'poor'. The crowd were awe-struck and dead silent. Not a difficult gig to tape. My recording is near-pristine.

Random question - what baseball team's hat was Mark wearing after the show? I didn't see the front as he was wearing it backwards. He didn't strike me as a backwards-baseball-hat-wearing kind of guy, heh.

Here is a sample, see what you think: No easy action www.mediafire.com/?tyf2z9fhh01sbgpI would dearly love to hear your recording it would compliment the official union chapel disc nicely and he played "i'll take care of you" which would make my upcoming audience compilations of the 2010 tour for onewhiskey even better

I uploaded it somewhere recently. It was post-Megaupload shutting down, so it is in the ether somewhere. I'm on night shift at the moment. I'll try and get to it on my week off.
What's the consensus on what, non-Torrent sites to use nowadays? Sendspace? Rapidshare? Do we have a consensus on the best site to use?
My recording is complete.

I don't think there is a consensus as such but personally I find mediafire the best. Its reasonably fast to upload too and extremely fast in terms of downloading. Looking forward to your complete recording a lot. Thankyou very much .

I can definitely be a pain in the ass for a good cause. and honestly, I'd be more excited about seeing all my Lanegan buds than the man himself. That is my main motivation to scrounge all my pennies up to travel. Can you be a pain in the ass for a lost one? Absolutely. I will also enlist the help of all of my new craiglist friends.

After show pic: Awesome shot! ;D Cool that you got to meet him, Coma. Hey Coma. I am the girl that was standing behind you in line before they let us in. I wound up up front too, but more center than you. Great pic, mine came out dark but I didn't mind as I have a better one from a couple years ago. Welcome!

Thankyou so much Soiled Sheet, but I can't do dime. Any chance of you putting them somewhere else? I'd really appreciate it. I'm without an excellent upload connection until I dump Time Warner for Verizon. I'm only getting ~50K/second. Let me get through this short series of dime uploads and we can then look at other options. If nobody with a solid business connection can't put it up on mediafire first, I'm happy a to sort out other spots. If you want to send me a USB drive and some postage, I'd be happy to load it up! I'm going to dig up the other Lanegan next....

I'm going to dig up the other Lanegan next.... I sympathise....I usually get 20 to 60 K/second. It's hell isn't it? I'm moving house this week though, so hopefully things will improve then. I'm happy to wait for it to be uploaded elsewhere (as I'm moving, sending a USB isn't practical at the moment - maybe later when I'm settled). Thanks anyway for putting them out there; it means I'll get to hear them sometime. ;D

I will be posting pictures today. So just to get this started: I basically cried on my flights to both NYC and LA. <-- i dont care how ridiculous that might sound, as I'm so glad/appreciative that I was able to go to the shows and hear him sing. Mark is beyond words. I fucked up. I didn't get a picture of the setlist times. I didn't realize the Bowery opened an hour before they were supposed to/to let people drink at their bar. So while I had been first in line outside of the venue, I became fourth or some shit inside. Such is life. I was pretty ill for 2 weeks-on before the show, and forgot to check the weeklies for any mention. So if you've got anything, post it here. == So I had been first in line, (as 1. I get line anxiety, and 2. This was a Mark Lanegan show that I had traveled across the country for, what else would I want to do?) and got there literally five minutes before Mark did. I believe Barriers had warned another fan that I was going to be uber-excited about Mark and the shows... Well, ahem: I asked Mark, "Can I show you something?" And exposed my Lanegan-fanegism, and mentioned that I had one in red aswell. He politely replied, "Cool" and then added the words, "Aren't you from the West coast? I remember you." To which all I could say were the words, 'Thank you.' I was able to hear the soundcheck for the most part from the exterior of the venue, and almost collapsed upon hearing Wish You Well. Thats how good a Lanegan soundcheck is.Now on to performance photos..
