Song number 5 of the Creatures With The Atom Brain new album "The Birds Fly Low", featuring Mark Lanegan. The whole album is fantastic, and this song is one of the best featurings of Lanegan entire career. Do yourself a favor: buy this album when you go to one of the Lanegan shows or buy it online or somewhere else, but don't sleep on this record. This one will BLOW your mind.

I was there in Bologna and Milan (met the guys from CWTAB too) but didn't buy their album. They were fantastic, weren't they?

I didn't buy the album at the show and I regret it now. They were fantastic. I did buy Transylvania though. The title track is amazing live. Looking forward to catching them again someday.

This is the direction that Mark should take for his next record, the way he sings is so fucking amazing.

Ugh. That synth is awful. And he sings like a geriatric Johny Cash.

Don't know if I'd call it crap, but it certainly is a disappointment. I was so looking forward to this song too as I love the other 2 Mark's done with them. Oh well, ya can't win 'em all.

I agree that it's really not very good. In fact, to use a familiar term, it's shite - HOWEVER - that accompanying link to QOSA's "Walking on the Sidewalks" was unbelievable, pure bliss!!! I had never seen that - 13 minutes - what a song - what a concert that must have been! And Mark singing "forever"

I'll say it's almost crap. Lanegan's voice saves it a bit, but it's really a lousy song. Generic and poppy sounding to me.

I definitely prefer Lonely Light over this, but it's not THAT bad. I would take this over that song he did with Slash...

hahaha and everyone got on my case about Aldos synth work with Mark live and how boring CWTAB was, THIS is dreadful and I agree this ranks right up there with the Slash collab. I am so glad Mark is touring the states with Sean and Zander.

I don't like this song, but I like some songs of CWTAB. And I think, they were an excellent support. Song with Slash is the real shit, Black Rider Run is a little, little better. ;D

Mark wrote the song and I think Alain and Mark had a large hand in it's arrangement too. I actually like the song. However I like CWTAB. Not sure why so many of you seem to be down on this song.
