Not going to fall for this. That Phantom Radio Remix-thing was the worst thing I've bought in years. Rather stay with the original

So far looks like Whiskey, Fieldsongs & Bubblegum in a dead heat! Blues Funeral in second place by a nose. If you wheeled those four in a trifecta ticket you'd be in the money Anyone know when the poll closes? I gave it no expiration date - so it should be around all the time. Won't close it manually Not sure, if I can even add options - when the next album comes

This is so sad to hear. Whenever I go to see a concert, I remember the first one I've ever been to - The Gutter Twins. I mostly went, because I knew Mark - but I was blown away by the whole performance of all these other musicians that I didn't know until then - Dave amongst those. A brilliant and passionate musician. Two years later I spoke to him for like a few seconds after a show and he seemed like a very nice and down-to-earth guy. Sad to see another person going at a way too young age. Rest in Peace, Dave.

I'm not sure, if that is 100% the one that they sell at the merch-stand, but I highly think so. Didn't really look for all the things they sell. Thanks to Jeff again for that one

Just came back from my Lanegan show number 10. Best sound mix I have heard so far in any of his shows. Plus best vocal performance Setlist was roughly the same, but NO One Way Street, and instead of No Bells and Tulsa we got Wish you well and Black Rose Way. Not complaining here So, there were 8 new songs for me this time - now I have heard 93 songs in the 10 shows I went to. Pretty rad. Didn't get a setlist this time - which is a first for me. Got all setlists of all ML shows I went to, so far. Well, life goes on now Jeff gave me on of their new picks with the MLB Gargoyle design. And I got ML to sign four of my album covers, which I brought from home. So in short: it was nice and not my last time Death’s Head Tattoo The Gravedigger's Song Riot in My House Wish You Well Hit the City Nocturne Emperor Goodbye to Beauty Beehive Ode to Sad Disco Harborview Hospital Deepest Shade Floor of the Ocean Torn Red Heart One Hundred Days Head The Killing Season Black Rose Way Atmosphere Love Will Tear Us Apart

The new songs do sound really nice live That bass intro riff from DHT is sick And finally Head live <3 (although not digging the backing vocals to be honest) And Duke is now on stage the whole time?

Houston & Phantom Radio- these haven't left a strong impression on me... -> Houston is fantastic. When I heard this album would be released and that it was recorded between Field and Weird, I was super excited. I listened to it many hours in a row until it was 3AM Imitations- dreadful album of covers doesn't get ranked. Flatlands is good -> I don't have the EP No Bells on Sunday. Maybe I should get it -> Bells EP is also quite nice, I really like this sort of variety between those five songs. Especially digging the first three. I don't yet have Gargoyle. Maybe I should get around to it -> Gargoyle ain't bad - it's really starting to grow on me. Took me also a while with BF and PR (to get used to this new style in general)

Hey There is a poll in a sub-forum, which is already eight years old. So that one obviously doesn't take into account ML's more recent releases. So that's why I created a new one; Mark has now twice as many records than at this point. Because this much time has passed, I'm interested to see, how all of us see the more recent releases compared to his classics. Yes, Gargoyle is brand-new and maybe not everyone had time to digest it, but the prior two main releases, Blues Funeral and Phantom Radio are now also 5 and 3 years old - time enough to make up nearly anyone's mind Just like the old poll, everyone has three votes. Happy voting! (I hope this thread / poll is ok here - if not, please move it) (And I also hope the poll works; never made one here before)

Nice, already three new songs played. Excited how they'll sound live. Will see him in a month You should edit the title with the date, so that others can find it better, I guess Edit: a bit of Beehive: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rbhUaheq6g

So far, absolutely no Lanegan video on youtube from this week. At least nothing with Lanegan in the name or description. There might be one of those famous "DSC_0467834.MOV" or similar, though

Nice tracklist for Düsseldorf. I wonder, how good it sounds. Bells, Dry, Floor and Atmosphere on it. Couldn't ask for much more Gonna get this bad boy for sure. If I have some spare money on me, I'll get some more CD's and see if someone is still in need here. But no promise
