anyone seen the movie? I'm googling it now. Seems like less lighthearted fare. Realizing the last time I rented a movie Blockbuster brick & mortar stores still existed in New York State. How do people rent/watch movies these days? #thetimestheyareachangin

I saw it-- thoroughly dark and depressing movie about the damage that drugs do. Well-acted, very dark. Anyway, I bought it from Apple, so it lives in the magical cloud, always at my fingertips no matter when and where I want to indulge in a sad, sad drug movie.

There was some very weird synchronicity going on for me. I sought out that movie when "Hell On Wheels" came out because I liked Anson Mount so much, not even knowing about the soundtrack! I bought the DVD when it was re-issued (wasn't available through iTunes then).
I think it's a great independent movie and Monsieur Mount is acting the sh*t out of it. If you are able to see the humor in life's more serious situations, you are probably not finding it too depressing. It has sort of an happy end! I think it is even more about choices, responsibility, karma and family ties than about "meth is bad m'key".

Hi My name is Randall Jamail and I was the producer of the recording sessions that included the songs from the movie Cook County. There we 15 songs recorded during those sessions. Also, if you are interested, I produced mark's contribution to The West Memphis 3 compilation. So, we know 12 of the songs from this session made it to the 2015 Houston Publishing Demo's release. Great job Mr. Randal Jamail, the recording sounds great! Wonder what the other 2-3 songs not included were?

According to Randall, we will likely never hear it. The songs on the anthology are 2 songs which also appear on Houston. I can't remember if the other 2 songs are still a mystery or not. Randall, would you have an answer for us? :-)

Hi, yes there were other songs from the Houston sessions and no, they will not be heard. The masters were destroyed as per Mark's wish. so, in Mark's words there's "...nothing much to mentioned." Randall
