... I also remember when he saw me in Boston he throws his hands up in the air and goes "My God!" because he saw me the day before in Philly, and a few days before that in NY. It was pretty hilarious. So Ravenlullaby!- how many shows are you going to this time?! Besides NY, I'm thinking Boston and Philly, did that last year and it worked out really well.

Sean Wheeler. Never heard of him... Sean’s the skinny one that you wouldn’t bring home to your mother He’s Mark’s bff * www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaP3ctt9Nhgwww.youtube.com/watch?v=MFwyXhtTA_U*pure gossip and slander on my part, they’re friends but I don’t know if they’re best friends forever. (How cool that, when you go to work i.e. go on tour, you get to bring your friend along with you. Imagine I showed up to work with a friend, ‘yeah, we’re gonna work together today’ ha ha snickering mmfao)

Underground Arts for sure! Small place, but I think it will suit Mark. Basement venue in a gritty neighborhood. Free parking lot across the street. I've seen a crazy play based on the White Stripes music there, some local acts and an interview with Damien Echols. I'm pretty excited for this show. I would love to go to the DC and NY shows as well, not sure if I can make that happen this time around though. Who's he bringing with him? Has that been discussed yet? Thanks for the info. Are there seats there, or standing room only?

Now that I think of it, there was a pair of dudes wrapping up their set when we got to last year's show. I guess that was them. But we got there late, just as they were finishing up, so I didn't see much. I'll get there earlier this time.

I thought Sean was Marks manager as well? Also signings started happening during 2011 because he came to Aust in 2010 and I met him outside. In 2011 he toured with Isobel and did signings after those shows and seems to have done it every other time since (well I can only vouch for Aust)

I can't imagine Sean going out solo, it's got to be with Zander, although the fact that EVERY place I see Sean listed is listing him by himself does make me wonder. And it is Sean Wheeler, not Sam, of that I'm certain. I can't recommend seeing Sean and Zander enough, Sean's a blast - quite the showman, Zander's a hoot, too, but quieter, and the songs they make together are magic.

Are there seats there, or standing room only? I've been at UA for both seated shows and GA. Seats were not assigned though, they were first come, first served. The website doesn't say which this will be. Though it has been updated from "with special guest Sean Wheeler" to "with special guests Sean Wheeler & Zander Schloss"!

I'm surprised he's playing the Neptune again. The last show was a bit of a wreck. Hopefully they have their shit together by now.
I doubt I'll make any of these shows. I'll just cross my fingers for now and hope a Canadian date sneaks in there.

Bowery Ballroom is all over the place with this: yesterday they posted "Sam Wheeler," today they updated it to Sean & Zander (in FB). As they are a duo, I can't imagine Sean showing up all by himself. Can't wait to see them again!

Not sure about other shows but NYC is seated. The Sixth & I Synagogue in DC is seated, too. Not to beat a dead horse or anything but this is a killer venue to see Mark perform an acoustic gig. Definitely plan on taking some videos...

Yes, it is Sean & Zander at the US dates. Sorry I haven't got that up yet, and sorry for not being around much lately. But it seems no one actually needs me here and everyone is behaving, so I don't worry much about looking over peoples' shoulders anymore.
Come to think of it, I owe Zander $5. I'll have to get it together before LA!

So what's going on with the Chicago show? Is it sold out or have tickets not gone on sale yet?
