Is Union Chapel really as beautiful and special as it looks on pictures? (... thinking about coming over) Yes! In November though, you'll need to wrap up warm! Looking at 4, maybe 5 of these... EDIT: I'm at the Union Chapel on Oct 31 (to see Fabio Frizzi. Or Goblin, as they're playing the same bloody night), and as Brighton's the next day, an extended and strangely-mapped jaunt starting and ending at the same venue might be in order.

Oh man, I'm from the States and don't have the means to travel over, but I'm so stoked that he's doing another Union Chapel gig. I hope to hell they record and sell as another bootleg (like the The Night Porter show). The Night Porter (Union Chapel) was probably the best performances I've heard from him...

Queens Hall Edinburgh is nice. It's not a church but has the feel of one. It's very civilized and always seated.

Wow. Not sure if this goes for all dates (but I would assume the ones with Garwood at least), but according to the Brussels venue (Flagey) Lanegan is both the main act and the supporting act. The bit with Garwood is the opening act, and then as main act Lanegan acoustical with a string section.

QOTSA are playinf in Paris on the 14, considering that Lanegan is playing on the 15 and that he has no show booked on the 14, can we except something at the QOTSA show... ?

Queens Hall Edinburgh is nice. It's not a church but has the feel of one. It's very civilized and always seated. It is a former church. There is a sister church just over the road called The Kings Hall, which is still an active church. The seats are optional for the venue. I saw Suggs there last year as part of the Edinburgh Fringe. Now just need to get hold of a ticket - I guess there will be no presale before Wednesday.
