man i must be getting old, i have no idea who about 90% of those bands are some great names however, skullshitter sounds like a riot, putrid pile? Haha yeah this year there are a lot of bands I've never heard of but the Friday lineup for me is stacked. Meeting up with friends I rarely see makes it all worth it.

The Düsseldorf cd sounds great. I don't listen to Joy Division but Atmosphere sounds awesome.

So Alice in Chains are playing Seattle the same night as Lanegan. Last time I saw Sean I told him they should tour together, not the same city the same night...

I've never had a complete listen to Scream but I agree that the live songs sound great acoustic. I'm catching him this summer and I'm sure it will be great as always. Too bad he can't get Alain to open.

I love One Way Street and all but does it really have to be on so many of the live cds?
I'll take a Duesseldorf cd if someone could pick one up.

Tickets were expensive, with fees it was over $70 for 2 at Johnny Brenda's, a dive bar. Hope the show is especially good this time around... One ticket for NYC cost me $55.

NYC is GA seated.
I've never been to Seattle and have been trying to go for a few years and told myself this summer will be it. This Friday night Lanegan show would be prefect.

Apr 26 Academy Dublin, Ireland Apr 27 Academy Dublin, Ireland Is this venue a lot smaller than the others on this tour or does Mark just really like Dublin? I remember he played it twice last year also.

Wish he'd bring Alain Johannes over to open for him. In fact I may even ask Mark to do that at the merch stand This! I was just listening to both of Alain's albums this morning thinking the exact same thing.

I was lucky enough to catch 3 of Chris's Higher Truth shows. He has never disappointed me live. Hearing him bellow out Hunger Strike perfectly brought tears to my eyes. For me, hearing him sing River of Deceit was super haunting. I had no idea he was playing it on that tour and so I was more than surprised.

I got mine yesterday also and I also noticed the wrong years right off the bat after I opened the package. Other than that I think they did a great job with the packaging of this.
Between this and the Swans boxset I got the other day, I have lots of new vinyl to listen to but not enough time...

Mark shares a birthday with Failure drummer Kellii Scott... Fitting as The Heart is a Monster and Houston are my two most listened to albums of the year.

I should know better by now to go with something other than Amazon for a preorder unless there's some awesome bonus involved.

What's with the sudden name change for this album? Last album have Dave on it and it was just Soulsavers but now it's Dave Gahan & Soulsavers.

I love the way that Way to Tomorrow ends, it's the perfect ending to the album.
It's a shame that none of these songs will probably get played live.
