There seem to be a lot more live releases at the overseas shows.

Well fuck...
"It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our friend, brother and inspiration. Dave Rosser passed away peacefully last evening surrounded by love. Thank you to all who kept him in their hearts. He is forever in ours."

Field, Bubblegum, and Whiskey were the three my friend burned me to get me into him so those were my choices.

So much for getting it signed at the show. I wonder if he'll be selling them a week early on tour?

Duke Garwood and Lyenn are opening the Philly show so I'd guess the entire tour as well.

I've listened to this album five times now and I'm digging it, Phantom Radio part two but whatever. Emperor reminds me of an Iggy Pop song. Death's Head, Emperor, Drunk on Destruction, and Old Swan are my current standout favorites but that'll change the more I listen to the album.
Spotify FTW, Amazon changed my status yesterday from May 5th to unknown.

That link redirects me to the US Amazon page where it says the 28th, so perhaps it got pushed back for your country?

Anathema and Mark Lanegan back to back nights at the Brighton Music Hall? Sounds like fun!

Love The Kills, so happy to see them warm up To bad it's not Mark & The Kills............. I love The Kills but that's an odd pairing opening for GnR. I hope they go well with the crowd.

Amazon lists the label as Pias America so unless that's a mistake it shouldn't be an import. I doubt my local FYE or Best Buy will have it and I really don't feel like driving 40 miles to a place I know will have it.

I preordered the CD through amazon US, and it's supposed to deliver on release day which I hope holds true cause I'm trying to avoid leaks this time around. I preordered it through Amazon and yet it has May 5th as my estimated delivery. It's weird because every other time I've preordered through them I've received it the day of release. I still might cancel if I can find it elsewhere.

Can't wait for this album to get released. I'm done listening to Nocturne and Beehive until I get it.

Wonder if Duff will join his set at any of these shows?

There's some pretty awesome bands included so far. While The Wall is far from my favorite Pink Floyd album this sounds like it could be done right.

I'm a Dead Can Dance fan so I'd welcome that with open arms and I agree that he could pull it off quite comfortably.
Tinariwen play something similar don't they? Perhaps that's a sign of things to come?

I'd like it very much if he branched out into other genres, maybe mixing unconventional instruments with his past acoustic fare. That would be really cool IMO. I'm thinking Dead Can Dance, for example. Holy shit that would be incredible.

Listening to a lot of Emma Ruth Rundle's new album at the mo, Heaven especially is an absolute killer. I can't wait to get this album as the two songs that are streaming off it are great. I loved Some Heavy Ocean. I think she played Heaven when I saw her last year, not sure.

Are they making more music or was he just referencing the fact that they played 2 songs together last night?

I don't even know where that is haha. I'm only sticking to the northeast for Alice shows this summer.
