Is the back injury related to the problem he had a few tours ago, when he seemed to be having issues moving, and ended the encores actually sitting down?

If anyone has spares of any of the vinyls that they wish to sell (or if anyone can pick them on the upcoming legs of the tour, I can Paypal straight away).
I don't have any of them and have only just re-acquired a vinyl player, so am on the look out for all of them, basically.

Nice set list. As a big One Way Street fan, I think I would miss it, but good to see he is varying the set a bit.
I saw him last Thursday at Koko, London and thought he and the band sounded absolutely fantastic.

You can buy the song on UK iTunes.
It's just called 'Bloodline'. It's not much longer than what is on the show though. It clocks in at around 1:12, I believe.

I quite like the album as a whole, and I am generally of the school of thought that Lanegan's vocals are best in an acoustic environment.
However, I think the arrangements on most of the songs on Gargoyle play to the strengths of his voice, that most songs sound very good and that generally the electronic element does suit him somewhat.
The only song on there I really can't get into at the moment is 'Beehive', which almost sounds like a forced attempt to fit the change in style.
I do particularly like 'Nocturne', 'Old Swan', 'Sister' and 'Emporer'. I think 'Nocturne' will be great live.

If anyone ends up with or catches wind of any spare ticket for London, please send up a flare—I'm looking for one or two. Assuming face, obviously. Cheers. If you don't have any luck, you may wish to sign up at Twickets: www.twickets.co.uk (unless you already are signed up). They allow people to sell their tickets only at face value or less, and you can get it to send you alerts if any become available for artists/venues that you are interested in.

I'm enjoying Nocturne, it sounds great both musically and vocally. I'm looking forward to hearing that live.
Beehive is taking a bit longer to grow on me. Will be interesting to see how they both fit into the flow of the album.

If anyone can pick me up a Dusseldorf CD and the Dublin one (if it is on CD), that would be much appreciated, and I can Paypal immediately (I can also do this in advance if need be).

Thanks for that. I contacted Union Chapel and they still say it is there.

Hi,
Could anyone forward me a copy of the Heavenly e-mail with the possible change of venues mentioned, to glt84@hotmail.com please?
I'm on the mailing list but don't seem to have received this one.
Many thanks.

Looking at that Seetickets UK link, I wonder if the Sheffield and Liverpool shows may be acoustic or just Mark and Jeff, with the remainder being full band.
Those two dates are listed as 'Mark Lanegan', whilst from London onwards it's 'Mark Lanegan Band'.

I've heard that Lyenn has been ill for the last couple of shows, so the band has been bass-less the last couple of nights.
Hoping he gets better soon and is back with the band shortly.
