I wonder if Mark is a fan of Shakespeare and particularly Hamlet? While digging Ophelia's grave, the first Gravedigger sings to himself:
Gravedigger In youth when I did love, did love, Methought it was very sweet To contract–o–the time, for–a–my behove, Oh, methought, there–a–was nothing–a–meet. (V.i.57-58)
Gravedigger But age with his stealing steps Hath clawed me in his clutch, And hath shipped me into the land As if I had never been such. (throws up a skull) (V.i.63-64)en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gravediggers#Songsand www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Dh1hwRj9zY

Other than the title and a couple of words common to both (i.e. sweet), what other similarities do you see?
