Yeah. Maybe it's just there for aesthetic reasons.

I also noticed the symbols on the cover. Especially what looks like an upside down cross. WTF? Probably I'm just reading it the wrong way. Anyway, I'm very, very excited about this book. Can't wait to discover what's behind his mysterious lyrics. And that preface by John Cale! This is going to be a fun read.

St. Anger by Metallica. Horrendous to say the least. I'll never listen to that mess again. I understand, though, that it was made during a very difficult time for the band.

I love Nocturne. Great song. Loved the dramatic guitars and Mark's typically cryptic lyrics. I just wish the drums hit a bit harder but hey, you can't have everything, I guess.

I really like the Judgement Time 'remix'. Great atmosphere. This.

I'm not crazy about remix albums, but I'm giving this one a try. So far, the one I like the best is Mikey Young's take on "Sad Lover". Respectful, creative and original.

I'm definitely curious about this project. I know very few of the artists who have reworked those tracks but I'm willing to discover more. I'm definitely a fan of a certain strand of electronica so, for me, a remix album is more of a good idea than not. Looking forward to reading your impressions too.

"Life is a hole. You're born from a hole, you eat from a hole, you shit from a hole, and when you die, you end up in a hole". (Translated from Italian, by pulp-cop movie actor Tomas Milian in the role of Rambo, no, not the one who kills entire armies with a single machine gun)

This, although I think Josh should have added some more synth sounds towards the end, right after Mark stops singing.
