Also there are several sites on the net stating Mark (& Alain?) are performing with Dead Combo in Feb and March.
Not sure about Alain, or how many shows cos I couldn't read the foreigness of the websites but a Google news search offers up top 3 hits relating to these shows
Wasn't sure where to post this, there wasn't a thread for 2019 touring

Reminds me of the other spoken word intro he did for Solar Child, like maybe recorded at the same time similar, but who knows. I like this one more tho

I can't help wonder why Mark doesn't make these live performance CD's (or album downloads) available to his fans to purchase on Bandcamp or similar website. I see this as a win-win solution for both Mark Lanegan and his fans who are able to purchase these albums online, while the artist receives payment for his work (and rightly so) Love that idea

Da Capo Snares Seattle Band Member Memoir
Mark Lanegan sold his memoir, Sing Backwards and Weep, to Ben Schafer at Da Capo Press in a world rights agreement. Lanegan, who was represented by Byrd Leavell at United Talent Agency, is the former lead singer of such bands as Screaming Trees and Queens of the Stone Age; the book chronicles the years he spent in Seattle, from the late 1980s to the late 1990s, when he was a member of the Screaming Trees. Lanegan writes about, Da Capo said, his time as “a low-level crack dealer and a homeless heroin addict, during the music phenomenon that rocketed out of the Northwest and brought the bands of some of his closest friends to the forefront of popular music worldwide.” The book is set for a spring 2020 release.

Since Ellensburg sold out so quickly and going to Vashon would require two requests at work we are now going to Bellingham ($42 a pair, wotta deal) and Seattle ($69 with $19 going to TM wotta heist) somehow my wife got row B thanks to whoever canceled their order on those seats I wish Vashon was in the Seattle date, as I've seen Mark at Neptune 4x

On the contrary he's been to several east coast provinces, with QOTSA just not solo new brunswick, nova scotia, prince edward island, newfoundland...... those are the only east coast provinces in canada....you are trying to tell me that qotsa has played in 3 of those provinces? unless they changed the definition of the word "several" to mean the same as the word "none" Ok, I was confused I thought Ontario and Quebec were provinces of Canada, I guess they're just near the east coast p.s. I'm sorry I am located in WA and get to see too many shows, but hey I'm pretty sure he's never played Vashon Island, or been back to Olympia, Bellingham or Ellensburg since he was a Screaming Tree.

Just read this on a website with a link to twitter: "My goal is to play everywhere I've not been. It's not been easy to find shows in a lot of countries but my agents and I keep trying." so.....how about some Canadian shows? East coast, atlantic provinces? Prince Edward Island? On the contrary he's been to several east coast provinces, with QOTSA just not solo

Mark performs with Dead Combo at Parades festival in August (at least I think so, the article was Italian). Dead Combo is a Portuguese Folk musical band formed in 2002–3 following their contribution in a tribute album to the late Portuguese guitar player Carlos Paredes

nothing comes up on a google news search, aside from a concert review of Eddie V solo where Ed says Mark is "one of the, no the greatest singer from the NW, what a voice". Went to Sieste's twitter only thing he's working on is stuff for Lady Dandelion who released a single in March no ML. So maybe Mark sings something for them on a upcoming release who knows

just saw this on fb (I'll post a pic of this when I figure out how to do it): Marco: One thing I've learned about DJing 90's parties: NO ONE wants to dance to Man in the fucking Box Lanegan: They might not dance to it but it was sung by one the of the greatest singers of all time. And one of the biggest hearted humans. EPIC!!! Marco's picture was subtitled "Real talk"

True I should just get over it. It's not like I'm going to bid on any items like that anyways. what about the demo tapes? When or if the demos go up for auction, Mark's people will be notified or hear it from the grapevine and assuredly have the tapes taken down as copyright holders. This already happened in the recemt past for WFTHG demo tapes that were posted with descriptions of the contents that were different than the existing 10 song demos that have been easily found / sometimes torrented since someone on here (cough cough me) shared them after receiving copies years earlier from ML's sister and brother in law, as well as the 5 disc Trees collection that their former soundman tried to sell off physical discs of rather than offering a torrent / ftp for all to have at once and no one got anything in the end or doubtfully refunds heh

I thought the way he played the organ part of Sworn & Broken and piano part of Teenage Wristband using only his guitar was amazing stuff. Definitely will be missed and Twilight and GT will sorely miss his skills
