Definitely want one of these posters.
Interesting aside that the bobblehead and this poster still depict Mark smoking when I thought he gave up a good 4 or so years ago.

The live version of blues run the game is from the 2000 show at Lola's Lounge Portland.
The 30 second snippets are mouthwatering.

Am I the only one who's completely failing to find a way to purchase the single? The No.19 website doesn't even mention this release so far as I can tell. Having been teased by that Soundcloud post so long ago, I am feeling a bit faint at the thought of finally owning a proper copy of this song! Ditto. The No.19 website is pretty lacking. Their facebook page says it will be on sale "soon". Not available digitally until 21 Oct over here so still a while off being available.

This bad boy is out now in Australia... Nice to see Barrett Martin, Mike Pickerel, Jeff Fielder, Mike Johnson, Alain Johannes and Duff McKagan helping out.

Hmmm, thinking too much about this will drive me loopy so I'll just rely on the most played song from my entire playlist. No music video, yet behold.... Hope by Deconstruction www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUfSIGtMX8Q

Guessing and hoping he will announce a release date for his looooong awaited solo album. In the alternative, gunfighting music with ML will be an equally welcome announcement.

Sphinx is the album standout after 3 spins of the disk.

Crap, ... talk about bad timing, if only for it to be the week before.
Cant complain that I cant see him this time as he has spoilt us Melbournians recently. Enjoy.

This sucks balls big time, I will be in NEpal when he's in Melbourne. He will be gracing the Myers music bowl while I will be hanging out with yak at 4,000 meters, FFS.
Thinking he will sneak in a solo gig (ding dong?) in the lead up to the melb show.

Interesting choice! Mark singing on a song from my favourite non Lanegan album would be a treat.

Doesn't sound like Alain Johannes to me, so I would guess it's either Fielder or the current live guitarist Janssens. Thanks Doesnt sound like Fielder to me, I've never seen him use a pick and despite some songs played by finger picking, the rest sound like a pick was used.

I dont suppose the DVD is the official 3-4 camera recording Mark had done of his 2 acoustic shows at the reopening of the Ding Dong Lounge back in July(?).
The cameraman told me if Mark was happy with the recording then he would release it.
So for those who have seen it, is it acoustic or full band?

Not much info around at all except here www.soundtrack.net/movie/cook-countyCant seem to buy the album on ebay, amazon or itunes. It's not on the onewhiskey discography either. It seems this song and if the link above it correct, the other Lanegan songs from the soundtrack, are relatively unknown and hard to source. Will ask my local record store if it is on their order list. thanks for the info.

Where did you hear the song? The soundtrack list i saw on the net has other songs credited to a Mark Lanegan including: "No Long Goodbye" "I'll Go Where You Send Me" "Checkout" not sure its him or not.

FYI, I mentioned on the Melbourne thread....
Interestingly, both shows, were recorded professionally with 4 camermen set up around the place. The official word is that they will edit/mix the recordings and send to Mark, if he is happy with what he sees there will be some form of dvd/video clip release... fingers crossed.

Great show again last night, almost identical setlist to Friday except Julia Dream replaced River Rise and When Your number isnt up was missing too.
Jeff had the same string break twice which allowed for a bit of a lull and some funny banter from Mark and Jeff with the crowd.
Crowd was 100 times better than Friday night, less mindless conversation during songs and more respect.
