But usually festival appearances are shorter sets Yes that's true so this is no argument. What whas it then that both of you had a bad feeling about the shows? And that it gave you the impressing Mark and the band had the same feeling? Or was this just projection? In reality MLB was the only artist of that night...I think the fact that the management of the festival forced the audience to stay sitting on chairs could have caused a bad atmosphere...but Mark was sure not at the top like voice and attitude, I've seen them too many times I think it's not easy to wrong for me!! But I took a record and so every one will judge!

1993 till 2011 with SCREAMING TREES 8 MARK LANEGAN 10 with QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE 4 with TWILIGHT SINGERS 1 with ISOBEL CAMPBELL 1 as GUTTER TWINS 2 as MARK & GREG DULLI 1 total appearances 27 missed opportunities SOULSAVERS Bumbershoot, and 2 other times when either Mark or Greg got sick and cancelled shows in Seattle. And I didn't know in advance that the 2 Mad Season shows would feature ML back in April '95 or I would have gone to at least one Wow!!! Your 27 are so heavier than mine!!! (8 screaming trees...I missed 2 venues in Italy in 1992/93 and I cant forgive me for that!)

I'm very sad to announce that Mark yesterday performed one of his worse gig that I've seen. Into the magic background of the historical park of Villa Arconati (Milan, Italy) I've find a band so respectful of his fragile voice...but it wasn't enough, Mark closed the concert after only 14 songs, too short I dont know why but the audience was so irritate.
